Higgins Tennis Nederland: what do users think?

Tatiana Alekseeva: Great tennis club, I am so happy to have found William and his team for my son's tennis lessons. My son has been learning tennis with Higgins tennis for a couple of years now and I see how much he loves it and the progress he makes. Also, also the friends he made at the club, all the coaches are very professional and friendly (William, Ramzi, Sebastian), and the lessons, registration etc is very well organized. I recommend Higgins tennis to all of my friends for their kids!
Response: I am so grateful. It is such a pleasure to work with your family.

Filippo Pacinelli: Great international environment, with amazing people and very good coaches. They organize a lot of tennis classes and also other events for free time. Perfect place for having good tennis and good time!
Response: Thank you! So appreciated.

Andrey Yukhanaev: William Higgins has been a great coach for me over the last months, taking me from a beginner level onwards. Having not played for almost a decade, he gave me the confidence from the first lesson to really take it up again. He is excellent at making sure that you understand the key techniques at your skill level and helps you build on it to not only play the game, but to make sure you enjoy it too! My game and confidence has grown from working with him enormously, and I have developed a great love for the sport. I highly recommend William as a professional, encouraging and approachable coach.
Response: Wow! Thank you so much. It is a pleasure working with you and your whole family.

Katerina K.: I started tennis from zero. As for an adult beginner, William is a perfect instructor for me. He is amazingly patient and encouraging and takes time to explain and guide through new techniques. In short, if you want to improve your game or start playing tennis from the beginning while actually enjoying the process, Higgins Tennis Nederland is exactly for you.
Response: Thank you so much! We love working with beginners.

miranda page: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueHiggins Tennis is a professional and fun tennis club. Attending their lessons is my daughters favourite part of the week, the coaches are great. They encourage and support in a fun way but the children are being coached to a high level. I would highly recommend this club.
Response: Thanks for the great review! We love working with families are so lucky yours is a part of the club.

anemari21: Great place to play and practice tennis, located in the quite neighbourhood in Zuidas/Buitenveldert. It is always well maintained and clean. Needless to say coaches are great professionals, who know how to approach players, regardless what their level is. I started from being absolute beginner, had private lessons with William, who is a great and patient teacher. Also very nice guy! Highly recommended.
Response: Thank you! We love beginners and are so glad you enjoy the club.

Madeleine Dignam: Fantastic tennis lessons! Both my kids and I take lessons from Coach William and his team and we love it. The lessons are conducted in English and the coaches are great with the kids. We would definitely recommend!
Response: Thank you! We are so happy your family is taking lessons with us.

Samridh Mishra: Fantastic club to either learn to play 🎾 socially or professionally. Talented and detail oriented instructors. Variety of classes to choose from and open/enough courts to play on the go.
Response: Thank you! We are so glad you are taking lessons from us and enjoying the club.

Mateusz Lukasik: William is a top-notch coach!
Response: Awesome to hear! I am so glad you are taking lessons with us.

Uttam Das: Nice place to play and learn tennis....
Response: Thank you so much. We so appreciate your family being a part of our club!

Tennis Kattenlaan: what do users think?

Maria de Lourdes Cortes Zavala: If you like tennis, this is a place where you must come, central in Amsterdam, the cafeteria has excellent service and they have very good wine.

Sónia Cunha: I definetly do not recommend this school. They are not professional, is hard to contact them, and when finally after 4 months of wait (not because of corona) I could start the tennis lessons they placed me on a wrong level. I expressed on my application that I never had lessons before and still they put me on a higher level with people that already knew how to play. The teacher asked the school to place me on another group, as I was really unfit for that one. In the end they didn't had a decent offer for me so I asked for the refund of the money, which they did not refund entirely as I went to the 1st lesson. I find this extremely unfair that they made me waste my time by their own mistake and still make me pay for the lesson! Not necessary to say that I hadn't learn a thing on this one as the teacher was not "available" to teach me anything because she expected me to know!

Sabrina Miklavcic: Cosy, local tennis place in Vondelpark, next to Overtoom. Easy to reach if you are on bicycle, or with public transportation. In the case you need to park your car, you can underneath READE, rehabilitation center. I was a member of this little club years ago. Unfortunately if you don't have a tennis partner it is difficult to find a one, that can play in the same time frame as you and that the courts are not already taken. However it is great for kids to learn how to play tennis. Quite expensive though. On the other hand its much cheaper than the other tennis club in Vondelpark. There is a small cafe where you can get some snacks and drinks. Every time im cycling by, the courts are busy. The tennis season at the Kattenlaan runs from 1 April to 14 October. They currently do not have a waiting list for seniors, but they do have a waiting list for juniors.

Brenda Serrée Branding Diva: Cosy, local tennisyard, great for kids to learn how to play tennis. Also for adults. Expensive though. At the Vondelpark, near Overtoom. Reachable by tram or by bike. With car park underneath Reade, center for rehabilitation.

Dana: Great tennis courts, only when weather is nice though because they are outdoors.

Dome Spakkavizo Official: Nice place in the heart of amsterdam , near the vondel park

Lena Bazylevska: Community networking events could be added. For newbies impossible to meet other newbies

Christian A: Cozy place to hangout after a tennis match or a walk in Vondelpark

Kate Jakobsen: Relaxed tennis club. Great place for tennis lessons for the kids

Tonatiuh Romero: Great sunny terrace. Small food and drinks.

Amstelpark Tennisclub | Tennis, Padel & Squash: what do users think?

N K: Love coming to the tennis club. The tennis club has a very well organized toss with super friendly people. Courts are always well maintained and one finds a free court most of the time if booked 3 days in advance.

Ashwanth: Tons of outdoor tennis courts with flood lights in a great location amidst the trees, could even swap for an indoor one when it rains. Nearby padel courts and cafe definitely adds to the ambience and a fun place to be. Check out the yearly memberships, it's a steal

Kym Bedford: I stayed at the spa hotel next door and just wanted some snacky food to eat in my room I've been in the tennis club for food many times before, I went in and ordered a veggi panini to take away and had a lovely cuppachino with a coconut cluster on side whilst I was waiting they wrapped it up for me and it was lovely I then went back later and ordered some chips then I saw the apple pie so I asked for a slice the lady offered cream and put 2 little pots full of cream and a disposable fork in the box with the apple pie and wrapped it up for me they wrapped the chips to and I got another lovely cappachino anto take away and they gave me 2 little coconut clusters in a cup aswell they went to so much trouble the food was lovely so a big thanku to the lovely staff hope to be back soon thanku

Rob Pacheco-Escobar: Very good budget hotel, but they should offer a bit more than a vending machine for evening food

Vlad Sterngold: Very good club with indoor and outdoor facilities.

Edward Chalmers: The outdoor courts are great when you can play on them, but they are quite frequently closed due to weather conditions: rain and wet weather is understandable, but when courts are closed all day due to overnight frost defrosting and flooding up into the clay it can be very frustrating. Communication of closed courts is frequently very last minute, which adds to the frustration. The greatest part of the club is by far the people. You meet some wonderful tennis players and you might make some great friends!

Ronnit: Good place to start as a newbie... You find good mentors, people to accompany with...Nice ambience

Mehmet Ali Çopurlar: Once you register as a member make sure you read all the terms and conditions in welcome email in detail. They are quite sneaky on hiding details such as you need to cancel your membership before new years eve for the upcoming season. Otherwise you are automatically enrolled for the next year. This is the silliest thing ever. They don't remind you at all, I believe that is part of their tricky business plan. The season starts on April, they send you invoice on February and you have to cancel your membership 4 months before the season starts which is December. Basically once you are in their hands they will squeeze you to get money. In corona time this is quite an issue since you know that you will barely use their services. If you don't pay then you are gonna hassle with agencies that chase you down. Well done. All is legal but not customer friendly at all. Physical conditions are good in terms of courts, showers and lounge. Online system is inconvenient on court bookings. I also had tennis course here for one season. But I wouldn't continue even if the corona let me do because the staff is not as friendly as I would expect.

Florian Fonda: A cash cow place. We paid 35€ for an indoor court, which was not heated and parts were hanging from the ceiling. When it rained, water was dripping down and buckets were positioned by the staff. Communication with the reception was very impersonal and no interest in feedback.

SoftNoize: Nice facilities but terrible organization and management. The most annoying thing: no one here ever picks up the phone, no matter when you call. Similar thing for emails. For any stupid reason you just need to go physically there. Unbelievable
