Anthony Fiumara: Krav Maga is great to learn, especially with the knowledgeable and sympathetic trainers at Inside Defense. The training courses are intensive and instructive — and ID regularly organizes seminars outside the regular training hours. Really amazing.

Liliya Hopynchenko: Sport is part of my life for me, and Fight Back gym is quite more than a gym. Shimi is an excellent trainer who can provide you with the destination of your purpose, advise and check that you properly do all your exercises. He pays a lot of attention to corrections and provides food recommendations. I have had a lot of positive impacts, met new friendly people, and enjoyed our small coffee talk after. That is why l visit my sports lessons with, please. Thank you a lot.

Ilona Zvinska: I’ve been going for Krav Maga classes with Shimi for over 2 months now and I’m loving it. I like a lot how the classes are structured, you get a very good and energetic warm up, which also helps to build muscle and get stronger. Then we learn different self defence techniques and practice them. It helps me to both build strength and confidence. I’ve never had martial art classes before, but now I don’t imagine I will ever stop the classes at Fight Beck!

L Ddrums: I have trained for the first time in my life Krav Maga - Self defense with Shimi as instructor. I move out so I had to stop, now I am back in Amsterdan and the first thing that came to my mind was training again with him. This time he is giving me personal training lessons. I completely recomend both, krav maga and personal training. Shimi has a very extensive knowledge and always adapts to your goals or capacities. He is a very good person, professional, respectful and fun! I really enjoy having him as instructor, he makes the workouts not boring at all. The center is very clean and you can see he takes good care of it. I totally recommend it, and if you are not sure, just try one lesson. Only after you try you can decide if you like it or not. That is what I did :)

Dennis Giethoven: Trained here for a while for a tough military selection, and have grown extremely, physically and mentally. The teacher, Hielke, has military experience herself and makes sure you push your limits in a controlled environment. Tough workouts, but hard work pays off. Highly recommended.

I've wanted to try a jiu jitsu class for a long time, and I'm really glad Gracie Jiu Jitsu Amsterdam, the first CTC in The Netherlands, has opened its doors in De Pijp. Classes are super fun and informative. Instructor Adrian does a great job making everyone, both new and regular, feel welcome, Safe and engaged. Classes are an hour long, 3 days a week, and are presented in an easy-to-follow and fun format - The Gracie Jiu Jitsu way. Definitely highly recommend giving Gracie Jiu Jitsu Amsterdam and the Gracie Combatives course a try if you're looking to learn something new, meet new people, and have fun while learning how to defend yourself should you ever need it.

The location is convenient and easy to reach both with public transportation and car. Other perks of training at Gracie is that you get access to extensive instructional footage and the chance of training at other Gracie locations around the world.

*Professor A* is great instructor with volumes of experience in martial arts. The gym is a very CLEAN, SAFE and FUN environment. Great exercise in self care. An incredible investment in personal self defense with proven tactics that work. Definitely worth your time and energy.
