4worldlovers: Our first hotdogbar in Amsterdam! Here we serve our funky homemade hotdogs, freakalicious milkshakes, banger burgers and side dishes combined with draft beers, cocktails, homemade lemonades and selected wines. All our food and drinks are homemade or made with love for you by our friendly staff. The interior is designed by the guys from V3RS. They created a unique place where you can come in for a quick bite, have a proper meal with your friends or have a drink with your lover. All for fair prices, so you won’t feel guilty if you accidentally stayed with us all day!

Our sausages are made by a local butcher from Amsterdam according to our own recipes. Each sausage has its own unique flavour and is served on a crunchy German pretzel bun with three color cabbage and homemade sauce and toppings. Our freakalicious milkshakes come in more than 15 flavours. All of them are made with lots of love and effort to make them look amazing and taste delicious. Don’t forget to take a picture and tag us online. We also serve funky side dishes, banger burgers and selected combos with Brand draft beers. So much choice, we have it all!

Christmas 2013 has been the starting point for Bulls and Dogs without planning on a concept like this. “Gerda” was the name of the meatgrinder, a very special Christmas gift. With the meatgrinder and a book on how to make sausages the journey started.

Changing the soggy bun, sauerkraut and standard mustard and ketchup and giving it a makeover was the first attempt of creating something new. A crispy bun came on our way and the sauerkraut was replaced by fresh three colour cabbage, a homemade pork sausage with sauce and a topping of herbs. That was the first hotdog founded by what was later to be called Bulls and Dogs.

We use real German pretzel buns and three colour cabbage as the start of every hotdog. Using the pretzel buns really gives our hotdogs a pretty look and feel. The colour of the dough and the savoury taste is amazing. As for the cabbage we use raw white and red cabbage and we boil white cabbage in salty water and turmeric. At first we only used pork meat but now we also have lamb, beef, chicken (100% halal) and even a vegetarian sausage. We use premium ingredients combined with lots of love to create the perfect hotdog.

All our ingredients are fresh and homemade. Unique flavours and a product that meets the eye, that’s what makes our hotdogs so special.

4worldlovers: Exciting times, exciting upgrades! During the lockdown we took the time to give our terrace a fundamental upgrade, built an additional bar on our upper floor, and got ourselves a fresh set of tables. But even though we haven’t seen each other for 7 months, the ESCOBAR experience is still the same. We still have amazing food, we still make appetizing drinks, and we continue to serve everything with a smile.

Stop by and enjoy a bite on our new terrace or hopefully soon, an all-out dinner inside together with friends or family. Our new menu is built on small bites, funky vegetarian dishes, and mouthwatering cocktails.
