Prasanth Pendyala (Pendy): Sales / Pre-sales is horrible | Cannot imagine if after sales support would be any better Feb 2022 - Zonnefabriek were reffered by SunPower Netherlands (Best Solar panel maker) as they are their preferred installer. My details were shared from SunPower to Zonnefabriek and I was told to expect a call with 2 days. After 8 days I called Zonnefabriek myself and they asked me to send my details again when I insisted my details should already be with them, support agent then said some other agent will have to call me later. Received a call next day just to arrange an appointment “1 month later”. The next day I reached out to other providers and within 2 weeks, quote + visit + agreement + installation date is already arranged.
Response: Dear mr. Pendy, Thank you for writing a review on Google. I am sorry to hear you’ve had a bad experience with our inside sales. It is no excuse, but due to bizarre developments in (among other things) the energy prices, we have been experiencing an extreme rise in quote requests. This, in combination with low occupancy in our inside sales department due to COVID19, has caused a bigger delay in our follow-ups than we anticipated on and we intend to. My sincere apologies for that. I do find it a bit harsh to state our working method within the company as horrible, after experiencing such a small part of only the sales process. Especially when our sales employee did her best to provide you with a suitable advisor and plan a house visit in a months’ time. Please keep in mind that a solar system will provide you at least 25 years of sustainable energy. Robin: Made an appointment weeks ago, but 1 day before the appointment it is canceled by the Zonnefabriek. According to the advisor, my roof does not have enough space for panels (based on Google maps). Other parties did not see this problem. De Zonnefabriek could have reported this weeks ago.

Jelmer Lakerveld: Very nice and reliable party. Despite the delay due to crowds and delivery time, they communicate perfectly and stick to the schedule. Installation was done by a good team and was also pleasant.
