Ryan Cirilo: Peter sure knows his stuff. The owner, and his buddies, are Very cool and knowledgeable. Peter was even near closing time and he invited my Uncle and me to still come inside and play his guitars. Even knowing that we were not locals and probably would not buy a guitar that visit, he still offered us beers and we all jammed a song or two. He is Definitely a fan of music and I have told my local Dutch buddies, like Thijs, to visit his shop and buy a Ukulele or maybe even a Solid used guitar. Cheers Peter, until we jam again!

Paul Z: Great place, visitors can get a nice used guitar for 80 to 200 euro. Home-like, welcoming owner . If you are a music buff, this is like a small museum. Many other instruments as well.

alex ralph: Came here to check out the instruments while staying the week in Amsterdam. Owner was really friendly & I ended up chatting with him and his friends for a while about music, the city, etc. If I lived in town I would definitely go here first to buy a guitar or bass. The selection was really unique and I could have spent days geeking out about the vintage models, both classic and obscure.

Siggi Bjornsson: I bought a beautiful Eastman mandolin in this store recently. Sounded and played amazing. I told the in-store luthier that I wanted to put lighter strings on it. "Then we have to set it up for that!" Two hours later the mandolin was ready with new strings and a complete setup at no extra cost. Serious professionals these guys.

Rida Hallal: Took my Gibson J15 in for a setup, bone nut, saddle, and pins. All I can say is WOW! Highly recommended shop, they have an excellent variety of guitars and gear as well.

Max Varon: A great selection of guitars but a poor experience overall. As a guest to this city I was very excited to check out this shop. The man working the front desk neither welcomed me to the shop nor did he seem happy to have a customer on the premises. I asked to try a medium-sized thumb pick, to which I was told that even after one use the pick would be worn out and therefore I must buy it. I asked to play a guitar I’ve had my eye on for quite some time and was quietly handed the guitar and left alone with it. No information on the brand, no conversation to be had, just a very solemn vibe. I left after a short period and was not spoken to again during my stay, not even a goodbye. The store delivers on quality guitars, but very poor customer service. Would not recommend.

Bartjan Fit: A great shop with beautiful guitars as well as a really friendly, knowledgable staff and owner. Bought a Martin OM-28. Doesn’t get much better than this.

Mihai Varga: The best buying experience one can have. Look here first if you are looking for high-quality guitars and excellent service. It’s difficult to travel and pick a guitar these days, but Wil provided the best possible experience. He offered reliable, empathic and valuable guidance that was genuinely useful. It’s great to deal with people who love their job. As for the one-star reviews in here, the notice clearly says that APPOINTMENT IS REQUIRED before visiting the shop.

Trent Hill: A really nice place to shop for quality guitars. Great selection and competitive prices. It’s by appointment only, so you can’t just stroll in from off the street, but the trade off for that is you won’t have to struggle to hear the guitar’s tone over a gaggle of teens fumbling through “Stairway to Heaven.” Wil is friendly, helpful, and not pushy at all. It’s well worth the visit next time you’re in A’dam.

Can Yetismis: I went there to try out some of the guitars that are in the collection. The place is amazing, there is a broad collection of Lowdens and Martins that are all super well preserved. The owner is super nice too :) Definite recommend for anyone that is looking for a high-end guitar but if you want to go to the gallery in person you should book an appointment.

Brian: Very nice music shop with a beautiful assortment of guitars of all kinds! The multi-level store was definitely a lot to take in but if you are a fan of the music arts you would appreciate this store even more. Their service staff we interacted with were friendly and engaged in friendly conversation. They definitely didn’t mind us just hanging out and playing some instruments.
Ilse DeKoeyer: Beautiful music store that is clearly built on love. Atmosphere from top to bottom, offering a huge selection of acoustic and electric guitars, and other instruments. We were helped quickly and got exactly what we wanted. I enjoyed our visit there!
Kevin Grandelet: My experience concerns an order via the website of Dijkman Muziek. First of all, the condition of the product you order does not necessarily correspond to the description given on the internet. Indeed, while the Vox amplifier I ordered was presented as new on their website, it arrived without the original packaging, without the dust cover and the footswitch that are normally delivered with it (Handwired series) and even without the power cable. On the phone, the Dijkman team is friendly and they explained to me that a price discount had already been included in the listed price to compensate for the lack of the dust cover and footswitch. However, I never got a reply by email when I gave them feedback about the lack of a power cable. As far as I am concerned, I will not order via their website anymore.
Jon Sandsmark: Mostly your everyday music store. Its got the fenders and a few gibsons and Ibanezes. Nothing to special. This one has baritones.
Francois LaCock: This is a cute little music shop. I was looking for one replacement string and they were able to help me. They were quite busy during my visit.
Max Nebesny: Loved it, huge variety of guitars and very friendly helpful staff. Will come by every so often to check out new supplies.

Jonathan Davies: Bought my new amp here - they had a limited edition ENGL that you can’t find anywhere else. Shop owner (Nick) is amazing to deal with and they have the finest selection of high-end gear and guitars in Europe. Don’t come here if you want a Squier - but if you’re looking for an heirloom-quality guitar or amp, it doesn’t get any better than this.
