I have many reasons to come back.
Ramsay Drover: I came in with a very fine quality tweed vest XL to have resized to fit size Small. The folks at Tailors of Amsterdam did an amazing job practically remaking the whole garment in the resizing process. It is honestly the best tailoring job I’ve ever had done. The vest is even better than it was before and you would never know it used to be more than three sizes larger. The tailoring job was immaculate! And this business now has my customer loyalty. Flore: Wow, great experience. These people know what they're doing! I brought some pants to make them shorter and to make the waist smaller. They took time for me to try the pants, so they could measure some stuff and ask me how I would like it. It turned out perfectly. Also brought other pants with a tear that was in a difficult place to fix. Almost invisible seams. Very happy. Friendly guy, who remembered my name and took into account when I needed the clothes back. So I really recommend this place. Not the cheapest, but you pay for what you get: good service and high quality repairs/alterations. I've been taking my dry cleaning and alterations to them for a few years now, and they never disappoint. A while back I brought them a dress for a small alteration. When I went to pick up the dress, the alteration wasn't quite what I was expecting—my fault, as I realized I didn't communicate my expectations clearly. Very patiently, they agreed to re-do to alteration. I really appreciated their understanding and patience, and the end result was, as usual, excellent quality. Tailors of Amsterdam is the best! Sean Huck: Took in a pair of custom vintage pants for tailoring. Was told it would take a week, they were done in two days. The tailoring was perfect, and the cost very inexpensive (I think it was €10 for length shortening). Highly recommend these guys, they're absolute pros. BONUS: they have lots of vintage/second hand stuff for sale in the store which makes the experience more fun! Service: Alterations

Canan Azrak: I requested a change of zip for my jeans. I got my jean back with a tear next to the zip area. Now I have a torn jean (which I cannot wear) with a working zip and I paid for it. Since I was on a business trip, my husband picked it up and did not check it unfortunately. After I saw it, he went back but the store was closed earlier than the times mentioned in google maps.

Martin Fibbe: I live on Keizersgracht close to thier shop in Jordaan on Westerstraat. I bought many suits, Jacket and coats from Tommy Page on Prinsenstraat 7. He told me to use the service here. I went to London and bought many clothes from there. I came to them with 10 clothes to let them adjust everything for me perfectly, professionaly, amazingly and very excellent job. The owners are father and sons very friendly and good what they have been doing. This is only one place to be for me as lomg as I shall live. I also do dry cleaning with them too. I travel from far to have my clothes repaired. I haven’t tried their dry cleaning service yet so I can’t comment on that but I am sure that is also good.

Alicia Berg: Very good professional tailor. I had a leather handbags/rucksack altered and the result was exactly what I wanted and the finish impeccable! Also, I was listened to and provided with good advice as the job was tricky.
Josh Story: I went here to get some expensive jeans tailored which made me a bit nervous. The staff was helpful and the measurement process was quick. The jeans came out great and I'm happy with the quality of the hem and the overall fit.

Xinhead: I do not recommend this place. I took a good jacket, my favorite jacket, actually, in to be cleaned. The jacket cost me 275 euro. When I went to pick it up, they said they'd lost my jacket. They said they needed a month to look for it. Okay, I can understand that, I was patient. One month turned into two. I returned to their place of business and asked if they'd found my jacket. The owner said they could not find it, and said, well, screamed actually, the guy was fiercely unreasonable and insulting, said it was not their responsibility, and that I "was being childish to care about a jacket when there were people dying in the world." Yes, he actually screamed that at me. He said I could talk to Cihan, some other guy somewhere else, "he is responsible, not us," he shouted. So I spoke with Cihan on the phone and he agreed to meet with to talk about how to resolve this matter, and he said, "We will make good on our error." He also said, no lie, "Don't worry, we loose clothes many, many times. We take clothes from many big hotels, we loose very expensive Armani suit, dress, more than just your jacket, it happen all the time. We have bad employees," and then went on to talk about how he has fired one woman, etc. A week later I took off work one afternoon to meet Cihan as scheduled, but he no-showed. I texted him, he responded he was out of town and would call me the following Wednesday morning. He did not call. So I called, I texted, I emailed him for 2 weeks to try and reschedule a meeting, or have a conversation, something. I received no response. Finally I gave up, too busy to keep chasing this, which I can only assume is what he was waiting for. I'll buy a new jacket, not the end of the world, but I would not recommend anyone do business with Ferdinand Bol Fine Tailors, unless you don't mind this way of doing business.

Jeroen Vizir: Bad quality. Only simple things to entertain here. They can't handle expensive clothes or complicated entertainment work. Jeans shorter or holes close fine. Really skip it, you can throw your clothes away afterwards. In addition, incoherent prices, change per day and per person. Not recommended
