"Peruvian Cuisine NL "The Real Peruvian Kitchen": what do users think?

Katia Aviles: Great Peruvian food. Very cozy space, made me feel at home! A lot of variety of Peruvian dishes to choose from. All we had tasted great. You can tell it is a very authentic Peruvian owned restaurant. Everyone was very nice to us and the service was excellent. Looking forward to go back.

Andres Maldonado Ruiz: Lovely peruvian restaurant. The place is quite small and has a lot of demand so always get a reservation if possible. The owners are really peruvian and the food really looks like it is from there. Vompletely recommended for any lover of Latin American food. We ordered the chicken soup and the ceviche and it was lovely!

Macarena Aguirre Vera: Amazing food, drinks and excellent service. All the staff is super kind and friendly. Lots of options if tasty food and drinks. We had an amazing time and we ate a lot!

Shasank Silwal: Tried the Peruvian food for the first time and it was amazing! Also the pisco sour was really good. Would easily recommend this place to everyone for their delicious food and their kind hospitality.

alevped 83: True Peruvian cuisine! True to the Ceviche (unlike what you see in most places in Amsterdam). Real authentic dishes from around Peru! amazing! The cocktail is a delicious Pizco Sour! I seriously seriously recommend!!l Thanks Alberto and chef! Went back recently and changing to 4*. The food was still great, that did not change. The problem was the server. First he rushed us to order, didnt really listen to us, took finished dishes of 2 of us and asked if we wanted dessert while one of us was still eating (we found that so rude), and then he rushed us at after our meal to get out. He said there is another reservation coming. But we had booked a table and other tables who were there before us were not rushed.. probably because they were eating or drinking more than us. If there is a time limit on the tables I think it should be communicated before to us customers. Changed it to 3* after response from owner to my review. Instead of really reading what I wrote, he simply replied about the time...not reading that the waiter was rude, hurried us but the other tables that were there before us were not rushed. If there is a time limit, they should have been out before us.... Leaving 3* because the food is very good.

Clara Ruiz: Lovely and cozy restaurant with just few tables but a long list of delicious dishes.Pisco and ceviche was absolutely amazing

Alex van Manen: Super good fish soup! With lobster, shrimps, cod fish, octopus squid, mussels, super strong in taste. Fresh taste, nice herbs, a lot of ingredients. Would definitely recommend.

Joana Tene: Very tastyyyyy 🤤 food, delicious desert and cocktails. Very kind service, make a reservation specially for the weekend days. Will be back

Alberto Fernández: Very Lekker experience with the staff and delicious authentic Peruvian cuisine 🙏🏽👌🏽 🏽 BUENAZO!

NAZKA: what do users think?

Chris Hamrick: My group of four decided to try NAZKA to check out some Peruvian cuisine. We booked a table a couple of weeks out (it seems necessary on weekends), and we have 0 regrets. You choose between a 4-course (our pick) or a 6-course meal, and there are add-on options, such as oysters, artichokes, and steaks. 🍴 As you can see by the photos, each dish was beautifully presented, but more importantly, they were all delicious. We all agreed at the end of the meal that our favorite dish was the Yellowtail 🐟. Unreal. Maybe the best dish I’ve had since living in Amsterdam? 10/10. Additional highlights were the tomahawk steak with the mole sauce and the eggplant dish. But all the food was genuinely really lovely 👍🏽 🥂 The cocktails were also really refreshing. When none of the cocktails on the menu spoke to me, the friendly bartender offered to make me a drink based on my taste, and she made such a delicious drink. 🤵🏻‍♀️ Our waitress, Sandra, was very friendly and helpful! Thank you for a lovely dining experience. A waiter also explains what is in each dish when they deliver them to the table. 🙏🏽 We’ll be back, and I recommend you check it out as well! 10/10

Alex Filicevas: This was a really memorable experience worth 5+ stars. The food was outstanding, with interesting flavors it’s, layers and textures that uplifted every dish. The pisco sour was great and not to mention the nice the vibe and setting of the restaurant as well as the amazing staff that look after humor. Definitely look forward to coming back!

Laura Millroy: Everything about this restaurant is excellent! The food was amazing, strong flavors that were perfectly balanced. Comfortable decor and very friendly and attentive service. I would highly recommend this place! We started with the razor clams and the whisky sour aperitif followed by the four course menu. It was a perfect amount to eat.

Martina Bessi: Food and presentation are good and original. Wine is a bit expensive even though the sommelier is nice. Staff could be more engaging to reflect the warmth of Peruvian people! The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant, the music is not too loud so you can talk to people without shouting.

Lize Hartley: Delicious food, fantastic service! We were served by Cesar who was just amazingly passionate, thorough, thoughtful, personable, but professional. The interior is gorgeous, great wine list. Highly recommend!

Christian Böcking: Amazing and outstanding dining experience - actually the best I had in Amsterdam so far! Great atmosphere, super delicious dishes and service. 10/10! We went for the 4 course menu and added a tomahawk steak and had no regrets. It is hard to say which dish was the best - but for me the yellowfin fish and the tomahawk with mole were in the lead!

Daniel Cruz: From the 6 Course Menu - 2 were exceptional - 2 good - 2 weak… if the chef’s team manage to upgrade 2 plates and make robust food and wine paring suggestions, they could aspire to a bib Gourmand… but they really need to finess 2-3 areas. Amazing and friendly staff!

Thomas C.: Nice Peruvian restaurant: the interior must be designed with some inspirations from Asian, I enjoy most of the dishes and will consider to visit again if I want to try some Peruvian fusion food with good atmosphere. It could be a bit noisy during weekend evening and it would be nicer if the dishes are served in a evenly pace.

Lavanta Amsterdam: what do users think?

Melanie Fisher: We had a great lunch here. My husband is gluten free and dairy free and he had many veg and non- veg options for his lunch. Our food was delicious and the service very friendly.

Smitha iyer: A deli style Turkish restaurant serving wholesome food. We ordered takeaway from here. The food is flavourful but not very spicy. The mains are served with a small side of rice or bulgur. Aubergine with minced meat was cooked very well, they also have a veggie option for this item. Okra with chickpeas was also tasty.Food: 4/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Lilli Elias: I eat here several times a week because the the food is healthy, delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is incredibly kind and patient. Highly recommended for a quick lunch or takeout!

Daniel Gustafsson: A disappointment. Expensive, small portions. These are money-making ladies afterall. Reasonably tasty, BUT what I don’t like us paying 9 Euros for a wrap and getting it only half-filled!!! Looks better than it is….

Athena Barris: Delicious, home cooked meals by the loveliest ladies. I come here on a weekly basis and am always excited to have Lavanta!

Susanna Mari: Super delicious and authentic homemade food. Best dolmas in town and other Mediterranean dishes worthy too

Niki Janssen: The food is well prepared and as a take away its a good option. But ignore the tables and chairs because the word service is not in their dictionary. In fact, some people who just entered made a u-turn when they noticed how customers next to us were treated rudely. Cannot disagree with them.

Marina Peremojnaia: Nice place to taste some Mediterranean flavours, a lot of Turkish and Greek dishes. Meatballs, sarma and stuffed eggplants were very delicious.

merve güvendik: The owner cooks the food herself and makes them as good as my mother. A must try Turkish food in Amsterdam. It is not like other fast food Turkish food you find in the city. This restaurant provides a diversity of rich Turkish cuisine. You can find super delicious vegan and vegetarian food, as well as meat options.

Mumlight Dinner: Very delicious Turkish food. I eat often at Lavanta and today again enjoyed very tasty kavurma dürüm(wrap).

Cantina Caliente: what do users think?

Enrique Velasco: Acceptable for that Mexican craving. Menu is not very sophisticated but still some tasty easy maneuver dishes. My recommendation would be to go for the fish tacos, the rest is more standard fast foods. For more experiences like this follow @quiquinnv

Joakim Fridheim: Slow service and we had to make the same order multiple times before we were able to get all of it. When the food eventually arrived it tasted ok, but not what was expected. The final bill had multiple items on it that was wrong.

Alex Schepers: The burritos are well filled with good tasty stuff. Nachos and cheese are tasty too. The dips and sauces are the icing on the cake. Well worth the order.

Francesco Di Lillo: Nice Mexican restaurant in Amsterdam. All the items on the menu have little symbols to indicate whether they are vegetarian or gluten-free. We tried the patata Bravas and they were amazing! The tacos were only 2 per portion so they need to be accompanied by something else to be stomach filling. The burrito bowl was great. Service was overall okay even though we had a little misunderstanding with my order, but they fixed it as soon as they could. Definitely satisfied! Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options in the menù, all clearly marked Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten-free options in the menù, all clearly marked

Hannah: The food was great and the waiters super attentive. We had dinner there and shared a few dishes. Everything was very delicious. Medium sized portions. The ceviche was very small especially for the price but still super tasty. Another day we had lunch there and the waiter was unfortunately very inattentive. My friend had the tacos which were really small for the price.

M. ZGN: The foods were delicious (burrito, patatas bravas, chicken wings, chocolate desert with icecream). The staff is friendly. Nice place but do not forget to make reservation for dinner.

Lucie Ve: Good burrito with quality ingredients (I tried the beef burrito that is around 10€) but really disappointed by the lack of flavours (the caliente salsa is not spicy at all for example) … I don’t think that I’ll be back. However, the 10% student discount is nice.

Nasreen Akter: Delicious authentic Mexican dishes. A great find. I would say a bit expensive than you would expect to pay for Tacos. But you can see why it is so popular.

Wush: what do users think?

Rubin Reawaruw: This is a place where you can enjoy good quality food and drinks. The atmosphere is cozy, the personnel is very friendly, genuine and attentive. (As usual) I ordered the delicious KRAFTSCHNITZEL (chicken), with onions, hollandaise sauce, melted cheese and fries as a side dish (included in the price). Every main menu dish comes with mayonnaise and ketchup on the side (check out my pictures). As dessert I had a slice of their marzipan pie and a cappuccino. Definitely recommended to spend some time here and enjoy the surroundings with some good food and drinks!

Pablo Musumeci: Great place to grab lunch in Centraal. Service was kind and fast, schnitzels were big, tasty and cheap! They also had other traditional german food like wursts, bretzels and spätzle.

Matt Kerr: Great place at Central Station to grab lunch. Had the pork schnitzel and egg. Food was delicious. Would definitely eat here againFood: 5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Schnitzel with French Fries and Salad …More

Vladimir M.I.: I went with the expectations to transport myself to Germany and have a nice schnitzel and currywurst. While the second one was good, the schnitzel was nothing special. It was a bit dry and too thin compare to the ones in my memory. Another concern that will have an impact to travelers is that the time to get served is about 25 min although the place was half empty. Maybe the lunch deals could be worth the money, consider it if you are there before 17h.

Aileen Vetus: I always love the schnitzel and wurst combination! Fries are good too! Definitely value for money. Try the pretzel if you still have space in the tummy 🤤

Edgar Garcia: Very good place, surprising quality for something located in a metro station to be honest, the lunch special (schnitzel with fries and salad) is tasty, good portions and not expensive at all, recommended for both travelers and locals looking for a German bite and a good beer.

Celso Rodrigo: As far as restaurants in stations go this was a very good choice... I noticed a queue of laborers waiting to get in and I have learnt that if the locals frequent the place it is usually a very good indicator of how good the place is. The schnitzel was good but the apple strudel that was freshly made is worth the wait. Highly recommended.

Kajal X: Food was amazing! We got the vegetarian schnitzel and the chicken one and a bratwurst! It was all so good. Also got the German drink almdudler. If you come to Amsterdam this is a must try place! Vegetarian options: Very good veg options
