The three campuses form one Dutch international school, served by one team. The curriculum, school values and philosophy are the same at all AICS campuses.


The AICS is the first Dutch international school to offer all four IB programmes. The AICS is an experienced IB Middle Years and IB Diploma school. The IB certificate programme was authorised in 2020 and the IB Primary Years Programme was authorised in September 2021. This makes the AICS one of only about 40 international schools world-wide to offer the full IB continuum.

4worldlovers: ISA was the first school in the world to offer a complete International Baccalaureate curriculum from Pre-School to Grade 12. Today, ISA has close to 1,300 enrolled students, representing over 60 different nationalities who are dedicated to the mission ‘To Educate for International Understanding’. As an independent, non-profit foundation, all efforts are focused on creating a vibrant, global community of lifelong learners.

When I first joined ISA, the biggest impact on me were the different tests. I was used to multiple choice questions and answers, and having to change to different styles of exams, such as knowing and understanding, developing skills, communication, and thinking critically which really allowed me to not only show what I had learned but to also show my own thoughts and ideas, was a big change for me. These different methods allowed me to understand the topic better.

The Diploma Programme at ISA was an invaluable experience which taught me how to manage my time and to succeed in activities beyond my comfort zone. I’m really grateful for the ISA DP teachers who made the learning fun and interactive, and who gave me the opportunity to develop as a learner and as an individual. Thank you, ISA!

January and February are quite cold and gloomy, so inside activities are your go-to!

For our fashion loving students, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is only 13 minutes walking from our campus. There you can wander around admiring the beautiful architecture and learn what the latest fashion trends are. You can also sit down and enjoy a nice cappuccino at one of the many cafes in the area


For those looking for something more relaxing, QC Termemilano is the right place for you . A beautiful art nouveau wellness spot, which is just 11 minutes away from the campus by metro!

Until the end of January, you can go around the central canals and explore the light installations on display. You can see them all in under 2 hours by boat, or you can put your sneakers on and discover the art pieces by foot.
