Megan Alter: what do users think?

Lee Sukyung: The photography basic course helped me to understand all the technics. What I liked the most about Megan's course is that she encourages students to see all the aesthetic sides of photography and to practice our expressions. I made a big step into photography through the course.

Joely Live: When you get to shoot with Megan Alter it is a true photo shoot experience like you have walked into a scene and are taken away. Every thing is perfect from the storyboard to the makeup, jewelry, and clothes that are planned for you. She talks with you about the mood and theme of the shoot and wants you to feel a part of everything and she incorporates your ideas making the whole day unforgettable. You don't want to stop shooting. She gets into the shoot and is laying on the ground one minute pointing the camera up and then climbing rocks around you to get a whole new angle. We have shot underwater together and I love this, Megan dives under right next to me and it just clicks no matter how cold the water or how deep she still gets the shot. Shooting underwater became our thing and brought us together to want to work together all the time. Megan brainstorms the themes like tossing red rose peddles, being covered in white sand from the wind, or getting lost in the woods in a white flowing dress, and we spend the whole day shooting. When I see the pictures she has captured I am taken away by what she has created as moments in time. I forever hope to shoot with Megan.

Jason Bennett: I just completed the Basic Course and I learned so much, about my camera and the elements that lead to better pictures.

Roberto De Tuoni: I have attended the basics course and enjoyed the format, the pace and the variety of the course. In 6 weeks I went from shooting everything in auto to knowing how to get the best out of my camera. Before attending this course I used to look for a nice subject while now I am thinking at how to get the best out of it.

Katharina V: I did an internship at Megan Alter Photography for three months in 2015. Besides other intern tasks I was able to attend two Digital Photography Courses.Learning new photography skills in a small group full of inspiring people from all over the world was a great experience!

Christine Fischer: I took the Beginners - Level 1 & 2 Course designed by Megan Alter photography. Her trainers, Charles Groeneveld & Ramon Sewberath Misser were very hands-on instructors helping students with their cameras be it a Nikon, Canon, or other brand. The course was extremely helpful and useful! No matter the instructor, they were all nice, professional and patient teachers. Each giving hints and suggestions for getting the best out of one’s camera. I thoroughly enjoyed the assignments and exercises. Additionally, my classmates were friendly and interesting as well. I'd definitely recommend this course to other same-level amateur photographers.

Jordan Rice: I have been behind the scenes while Megan did an amazing photo shoot in the woods with tall pine trees while my sister posed in a wedding dress and she made it look so mysterious, romantic, and 3 dimensional with shades of colors like she was lost in the deep wilderness. Her pictures tell stories. She really gets in to what she is doing and sets the mood for the shoot, it is fun and more of an experience than just taking photos. x

Paul Smith: I paid for a course last year and I, unfortunately, I was just able to attend one lesson. I told her my situation in advance but she gave me no solution so I lost all my money (around 320 euros). I'm totally disappointed, and of course, I would never recommend it. There are many good photographers in Amsterdam that can teach you to make good pictures (and not only take your money) so I will choose another one next time

Nicole Pitton: I took the advanced class with Megan Alter photography. Awesome class, I learned so much in a few sessions. I enjoyed very much the fact that the emphasis is on practice. Great creative people that motivates you to push your skills to a maximum.

Inge Klinge: Megan is a very skilled, helpful, patient and nice person

Han Schnek cursussen: what do users think?

Pierre Wilbords: You have an SLR camera, but you don't feel like going through the entire manual, you do take pictures, but everything is automatic, twigs in the foreground are sharp, but that special bird is out of focus? You know the camera can do anything, but you don't know how? Then this 1-day photo course from Han Schnek is highly recommended! It is well worth the money! Finally I like to take the SLR camera again and no longer the mobile. Han, thank you very much for the clear and professional explanation of aperture, shutter speed and exposure, which is indispensable for every (hobby) photographer! I will definitely follow a follow-up course with you to be able to take even more beautiful, expressive and living photos! Thank you! Best regards. Pierre Wilbords

Matthijs Lamme: As a starting photographer you have no idea where to start. Which camera do I need, which lens do I need and how do I get the best result with it? After first orientating myself online for 10 hours, I decided to follow a course at Han Schnek. On the day itself, time is taken for the goals you want to achieve with photography and attention is paid to how you can achieve these goals. The online course that will be sent to you provides good basic knowledge that can be used when actually photographing. This course is definitely recommended and will definitely come back when I want to take the next step. Thank you Han!

Jeroen Joling: The basic course was very educational! Han teaches you the various functions on your camera in a very practical way, and at the end of the afternoon you can already take a lot more beautiful photos. I would definitely recommend this course for anyone who wants to learn how to take better and more beautiful photos than the standard "snaps"!

Lisa Bousie: An incredibly educational photography course for beginners! I went into the course fairly inexperienced, and at the end of the day I was sure to shoot some nice pictures. Han teaches in a pleasant way and everything that is told is immediately put into practice. A photography course that really benefits you, highly recommended!

Rutger Schoute: Handy course if you want to learn how to use the basic functions of your camera. Accessible, not pretentious, most participants are of the same level, not too highly trained in photography, so no question too crazy. Half a day of theory with testing in the classroom and then out on the street to try it out in practice. Good choice if you want to learn the basics in 1 day and do not need a multi-day course.

Alesia van der Vegte: Had a very educational and fun course (basic photography). You get enough tips to start / continue with and learn what you need to do to decide for yourself what will be on your photo. You are also not technically strong and do not understand the buttons on your camera - you will also learn that during this course. Good location, easy to reach with public transport.

Nick Smits: Recommended! In all patience and with great pleasure, Han teaches you all the basic skills to get rid of the automatic mode in one morning. Immediately go outside in the afternoon to practice in practice and you will receive immediate feedback on how to make your photos even more beautiful.

Saskia Hilhorst: The workshop: Being in control of your camera with Han. In 1 day you will learn the basic skills to take better photos. In the afternoon immediately be able to apply the acquired knowledge outside. The location is close to the Amstel, Carre and the Magere Brug.

Willine Geluk: In 1 day you will learn basic skills to take better photos. It is nice to immediately practice knowledge gained in the morning outside in the afternoon. The location is close to the Amstel, Carre and the Magere Brug. Nice place to take nice pictures!

Henk Hermsen: A very good explanation of how your camera works: clear, practical and immediately the opportunity to practice. Learned a lot this Saturday from an enthusiastic and very experienced photographer/course leader. Well worth it. Han thanks for this fun and useful day, will definitely come back again

BLINKfotografie: what do users think?

Alexander Suer: What a great and fun learning experience it was to part of several photography courses hosted by Sandra and Renate! Thanks again for your patience, clear instructions and explanations. If you are looking for professional photographers that have the teaching skills to take you to the next level these two can really help you out!
Response: Thank you for your nice review, Alexander!

Hanneke de Waal: I have already taken several courses at Blink and I keep learning fun new things every time and, above all, getting a lot of inspiration!
Response: Thank you, Hanne!

Remko Roosjen: We at MAAK Advocaten have been working with Blink Photography from day 1. Renate and Sandra are passionate photographers and have an eye for detail. What I really appreciated is that they didn't always agree with me - and suggested options that I wouldn't have thought of myself. You can only hope for that. Feel free to look at our website and the pictures speak for themselves. I highly recommend them to my network (and beyond)

Sjoukje Posthuma: Blink is a professional photo studio, with years of experience and a pleasant, human approach. You can come here for business photography, beautiful family photos or portraits for social media, for example, and for various courses. Recommended!

Tim Sombroek: Sandra and Renate take beautiful pictures! They think along with the customer and the post-processing completes the photos. Recommended!

Danielle Brand: Renate and Sandra know how to teach you the basic techniques of photography in a nice, clear and professional way. Highly recommended for any photo enthusiast.

Ron Bron: Very good course to get to know your device and fun course management

Pip Van Etten: Last months I followed a super fun and educational basic photography course at BLINK! Definitely recommended to get to know your camera better and upgrade your photography skills 👍
