Lauren: Do not learn to ride or drive here. It’s expensive and they rip your confidence apart. I was learning to ride for 2 years and I was given no plan on how to pass, just kept being told I wasn’t good enough. I would often cry in my lessons due to the instructor shouting down the intercom at me. It got to the point where I no longer enjoyed riding anymore and wanted to give up. With this riding school you bleed endless money to feel awful about yourself. I gave up and thankfully I did try another riding school, within 2 weeks I passed my test.
dennis van laan: It was a bad experience. I did not like the motorcycle lessons they gave. I ended up taking 20 lessons and left! I went to another instructor and he let me do the end exam straight away and I passed it in one time!!!
Response: Customer unknown Probably competitor?
Arthur Bredemeijer: Last summer I purchased a package from RVV for all exams, except for theory. I have passed my ABV exam at this driving school but my AVD for which I had already paid for at another driving school. Why and that is a warning if you are going to study here. RVV has nice and good instructors and the lessons are of good quality. Why I dropped out of this school at some point is because you have to have infinite lessons before you can apply for the exam. I also thought it was not being worked on in a targeted lesson plan. They keep it vague when you can drive off and set the bar very high. In my opinion too high for the exam. When I started taking lessons at another driving school (Royalty in Amsterdam West), I was able to request my exam right away. It is just a revenue model from RVV to let you learn a lot so that RVV has a 100 percent success rate. If you are considering choosing this driving school then you must ask yourself if you want to learn the basics of motorcycling and pass the exam and learn the rest further on the road, then you should not be at RVV. If you want to learn endlessly and in this way you are sure that you can ride a really good motorcycle but have lost a lot of money, then choose this driving school. I made my choice and luckily I could finish quickly. Unfortunately I had to pay twice for my AVD exam, but in the end I lost less money if I had remained infinite at RVV due to lessons. If Marcel (the driving school owner) states below that I did not learn at his school, then that is a trick to mislead. I see that he has done the same with other comments. Feel free to contact me if you want advice and want to hear my review personally. Good luck learning motorcycling, it is super cool, especially when you finally have your exam and can go touring. Greetings, Arthur
Response: Hi Arthur, Comprehensive response, deserves an extensive reply. We were still working on the basics of motorcycling when you wanted to take the exam? Each lesson is neatly in your online agenda. Each lesson clearly states what we have done. Nowadays there are indeed driving schools with a different earnings model than ours. There are other driving schools that: Many expensive exams that the CBR earns a lot of money with, but what is not said is that the driving school earns more from a driving test than the CBR Too bad you failed the first time. I am almost certain that the point where you failed was simply in your overview at our driving school. Passed the second time I understood and you will learn the rest in practice? Yes, that's possible. Keep in mind that in an accident on a motorcycle, the chance of permanent disability is 50%! There is no second chance in traffic! And what is completely sour is that it is simply online with us what went wrong in the traffic. So there are indeed driving schools that are not so concerned with their students and only want to earn money. We train you in such a way that my children would be allowed to ride on the back of your motorcycle after obtaining the driver's license. That is fair to you and everyone around you. Riding a motorcycle is great, if you know what you're doing! I would like to record a video with you for YouTube. Then I can name the things that the other driving school missed. And what the CBR did not have time for because the exam is a snapshot!
Bea Colette: RVV is a teaching machine on steroids.. vague communication... stressed owner who likes to have fun but is less willing to explain something clearly to you.. sometimes hilarious, but uninformative language. I really tried it at RVV, went way over budget and explicitly asked for a good explanation about no driving license, then I continued lessons elsewhere and got my AVD in 1 month at another school. RVV puts safety first and that is good, but clear communication is not important.

Pieter Elbers: I think you need to book a ticket if you want to go in. Otherwise the main entrance is closed. Maybe the website could be a bit more clear on possibilities for visitors. When can you go to the foyer?
Annemarie Johnson: Everyone very friendly. Yes, there is a need for renovation and those who have complained about it need to maybe make a donation for those renovations. I was allowed to go through stable and pet horses when in States it would have been prohibited. Beautiful location and makes me wonder what it must have been like when horses not cars ruled our cities. Yes it smells old but that is history. Yes it smells of horses but it is a stable. If you are a true horse lover and rider you will respect and appreciate.
Denitsa Yoncheva: I purchased a group lessons package, which was interrupted due to covid (group classes were not allowed anymore). I was offered to exchange the remaining classes for private ones at a rate which was more expensive than if i had gotten private classes in the first place. I was also told that i cannot get a refund, and that i can get the remaining classes (that i had paid for) only if i purchase another package. Months later i received a random invoice for €250 and was told that it was a “yearly administration fee” that you get if you purchase one or more packages. This is something i was never told and had never agreed to and after sending a couple of emails to argue about it was told that “oh, yeah, sorry, it’s a mistake”. The organisation and communication of the place are not good and it feels like they’re trying to squeeze any money possible without offering any service in return.
Shilpa Pednekar: Horse riding school just in the centre of Amsterdam. Lovely place!
Rob Brinkerink: Next to the city center of Amsterdam horse stalls with some glorious buildings and atmosphere

louis vana albeslo: best school ever !
Asir Pinarbasi: Top school!!
Levi Jacobs: nice school! I enjoy going there every day so definitely recommended, keep in mind that if you choose the coder profile it is high level and it is not a game class you will not play the games :-)
Boris Jonkheer: Good school, but tomorrow they will do something about the toilets on the 1st floor old building. They pose a threat to public health.
Rbx Flipper: Turkish pizza has gone up 25 cents after the summer holidays, because of this I made 5 suicide attempts. bad school
Ash Ketchum: This review is not so much about the school, but about the ICT cloud program. In this program they make far too high demands on their students. for example they had to build a complete vr game in 8 weeks, but first they had to learn blender and unity, then build everything, animate and assemble a complete game system. this is not the only box they have, keep in mind.
Marjan Huisman: Really, this is such a nice school. My son (3VWO) outdoes himself every day! Time and again I am touched by the involvement of the teachers. It is also such a nice thought that my son is surrounded by such good and enthusiastic teachers every day.
Raed za 3: Very nice school. I enjoy going there every day

Van Arruda: A very friendly and enjoyable class that focuses on speaking. Wessel is the best and has amazing teaching skills. His method and way of teaching makes it easier for you to memorize vocabulary and a lot of emphasis is given to speaking, which makes the course quite unique. Grammar is also taught but the focus is really on the speaking. This is actually why I chose this course. I’ve been trying different courses, which were good for grammar but my speaking never improved. This is the first time I’m really seeing my Dutch improving in practice (speaking) and I feel more confident to use it when at shops and in the street. The class has also a nice informal atmosphere, cookies, coffee and tea are available all the time. I did the survival and the small talk and will enroll for the conversation level in September. Highly recommended!!
Anelya: Dutch is a beautiful language and if you live here why not to learn it? I signed up for 1 week beginner course, which consists of 5 classes daily 6 hours each. The group is small 8 people. Class is divided in 2 x 3 hour each sessions. Morning session was with Wessel, he is the founder of the school. And second half was with Jorgen. I enjoyed non conventional flow of the class with Wessel. He developed his own technique, video and print materials. My second teacher Jorgen is not as confident in teaching, and I can’t say anything good about him but during his class we, students, are more proactive. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, don’t be afraid to speak Dutch.
Daria Mikhailova: School for those preferring informal atmosphere and semi-structured method. Helps a lot to start talking / feel more confident. Not that good for increasing vocabulary. Definitely very warm people and fun.
Kristina Nyberg: So far have been to two classes and am impressed with the pedagogic skills of the teacher. The way of learning is to learn by doing and dare making mistakes. Everyone is encouraged to talk and there is a good spirit. Tea/coffee and cookies are offered.
Paul Tullis: The owner of this business and teacher of the classes does not check QR codes. He says he has "done his own research" and that Covid restrictions are "all about control." I will not reveal his vaccination status out of respect for his privacy.
Kursun: i took this course because im working in a dutch company and wanted to learn the language. I was a bit nervous in the beginning, but learning with fellow students eased me abit, the teacher is very interactive and funny... I surely can recommend this :)
