Seva Petrova: I honestly cannot recommend enough this salon and especially Nicholas! I recently moved to the Netherlands and have been on the search for a hair stylist who can cut my hair well and I’m so over the moon to have found La Maison. Everyone in the salon is super friendly and welcoming. Nicholas was honestly the best! One of the best hair cuts I’ve ever had! He was super attentive and really brought life back to my hair, also gave great tips on how to style at home. If you want an amazing haircut definitely visit La Maison! Cannot recommend enough! Marti Mitchell: Beautiful salon with nothing but pure talent!! They do such a great job of making you feel welcome and right at home. It’s cozy, clean and vibrant! Totally in love with the incredible work Lewis does. I don’t have to even think or show him photos of what I want; he just knows exactly what will look great on me! My hair has never felt so soft and healthy; and the color always looks so natural and pretty!

Kate Babich: La Maison is definitely the best place in Amsterdam to have a haircut! I cannot express how happy I am with the result every time I entrust my head to La Maison team. Everyone in the team is absolutely ingenious, professional and a very nice person! I had experience with Brigitte, Lewis, Olga and Sanne, and every time the result was perfect. The last haircut by Brigitte was just magic: I was not very detailed in explaining what I wanted, but she felt my personality/mood, and styled my hair exactly the way I was trying to for several years, and she did it perfectly! Huge thanks from grateful client!) Highly recommend!

Victoria Ringeisen: This by far the MOST EXPENSIVE price i paid to do my highlights. The highlights are well made . I paid 283.50 for highlights and toner (without cut and without any kind of blow dry as i left with wet hair in a bun ) which is a lot. Especially since on their website it is advertised at 225 with blow dry and cut ... Also you have to count to stay there for 4 hours also the longest i ever had to wait. Service: Hair coloring

Seona Nichole: I just had THE WORST experience of my life in this salon. what I asked for was subtle highlights towards the ends of my hair and now I have CHUNKS of blonde in random places. not only did this service take hours, but they ripped out my hair, caused me tons of pain, would not let me use my phone, talk to them, or cross my legs. They were very very sketchy and obviously did not know what they were doing DO NOT USE THIS SALON!!!! Services: Hair highlighting , Hair coloring

He is such a professional and very accommodating. Alan and Danny works with their hearts in it. Alan will not be satisfied if his customer is not satisfied. Such friendly and excellent service are the amazing qualities I could never find in different salon. The salon is decorated in modern style that you can be inspired while they will serve u with coffee and tea to keep you entertained while waiting. Such a good location and easy to make appointments because he will also adjust to your time if necessary. Top service!!!!

Laurens V.J. Hoogeveen: I have been going to Alan for more than 5 years & he is the only one that can handle my type of hair. I don’t really have to tell him how to do it, he just knows. I have never been satisfied with any previous hairdressers, they just didn’t know how to deal with my hair and I have been going to the most expensive ones. Alan is reasonably priced & does the best job.

Madhuvanthi Srinivas: Really happy with the haircut and summer hair color by Edward. He was also a really friendly and cheerful person and understands Asian dark hair very well and suggested the right color and cut! The prices are also very reasonable. Please note - I have also heard from others that the hair dresser is very approachable so if you have any problems, please call him and correct the issue which he is very open to. I have not yet washed my hair after the initial styling and color. I will write an additional review after the first wash as well. Services: Hair coloring , Hairstyling

Viktoria Reis: I had a great visit and Edward is absolutely excellent. I was in Amsterdam for a short holiday and he absolutely made my day. The head massage was great, so was the hairstyling. You can see his experience, plus he is a pleasant and polite human being you feel most comfortable chatting to. I can recommend the salon without hesitation.
Julie Germansky: I had a fantastic experience at the salon. Edward took such care in walking me through what he was going to do (as I was nervous about cutting it too short from a previous haircut). He is so friendly and warm, he even offered me a delicious tea. He provided great suggestions based on my hair type on the what the ideal cut could be and I am very happy with the results :) The head massage was the cherry on top! I will definitely go back next time I’m in Amsterdam.
Siewling Soon: Fantastic! Edward did a wonderful job with my hair. It was my first time getting a perm - all I had to do was show him some reference photos and let him do his magic! :) He did a perm, coloured my hair, and did some highlights! And of course, his famous head massage - the best reason to go to a hairdresser! :) He also followed up a few days later to check that everything was still going fine. SH: It’s so bad and disappointing that I actually cried after walking out of the salon. Edward is kind, but this does not make up for the result that I was given. Haircut was very sloppy, back looks like opposite mountainS, front is even more shocking. Showed some images at the start, but result looked nothing similar. Bangs were cut as if my mom would have cut it for me in the kitchen 20 years back. Hair wash was the most painful experience, my neck felt so uncomfortable, perhaps because of the very outdated chair and as if broken bowl to put my head in? Paid 55 in total, only cash was accepted. For this price, go to one of many nice Japanese hair salons. I tried this one out because the Japanese salons were all fully booked, and I needed a haircut and found this salon with a very high rating. This Google rating does not reflect the environment/results.
Felix Ng: Professional and enormously friendly service by Edward with reasonable price. Most importantly, he is an expert for Asian haircuts and styling - highly recommended!!! Edward will also passionately share his travel tips and restaurant recommendations if you are new to Amsterdam.
