Eduard Valasek: nice pool, building, staff ok.... but they can tell people to take a shower first before they go to the pool.... more than half were not in the shower when they came... so hygiene is not too good
David Hodgkinson: As good as ever. I was lucky in that only half a dozen of us were swimming, but still, an amazing place.
Kristin Wynder: I really like the aesthetics of this pool. You feel the history and enjoy the design. I love the bathing kamers to change along the sides. If you are a serious swimmer you will miss on one end there is no wall to push off, so it is definitely a place for more casual swimming.
Asma Ali: I wish I could give this place zero rating!!! I’m honestly appalled by the way we’ve been treated. It’s utterly disgusting and shameful. Never in my life have I experienced racism and islamphobia like this. We were told we couldn’t swim because we were Muslim and if we wanted to swim we had to go half naked as that was their policy. I’m actually ashamed by the lady at the desk. We were celebrating my little cousins birthday and this lady honestly broke my little cousin till broke down crying. What kind of evil human makes a little girl cry, I’ve never seen so much hatred. I’m too stunned, this experience has honestly tainted my view of Dutch people. PLEASE THINK AGAIN BEFORE GOING TO THIS PLACE!!!

Fathia Ali: Absolutely appalling hygiene. Staff stole from my locker while i was away, my my great grandmothers wedding ring was stolen and i was the only person in the pool.
John Knights: Beautiful pool, wonderfully old fashioned, but so is the administration at times.
Rajeeva Narayan: In 1912, when the Zuiderbad opened, it was far ahead of its time. Both central heating and electric lighting made it possible for bathers to use the impressive building in the winter as well. It may not be a pool for the professional competitive swimmer, but a passer-by wanting to absorb the ambience of one of Amsterdam’s delights would do well to step inside, pull on swimming togs, and try the dappled water.
simon li: Beautiful building and great location next to Rijksmuseum. The lane is a bit short - 20 meters and it can get quite busy. Not too many lanes for lap swimming comparing to other swimming pool as the middle part ( 2-3 lanes space) is for more leisure swimming. Also checked the time for lap swimming as the pool are quite busy with other activities as well. ( kids lesson / aqua lesson , etc ) They also have a wellness area with whirlpool and sauna. You need to buy a separate coin at the entrance to use it.
Guillaume Sinou: Wednesday evening, way too crowded unfortunately. And a few guys guys kept on doing pull ups from the diving board, blocking 2 lanes out of 4. None of the instructors cared to do anything about it. A lot of much better option 10 mins away from here by metro.

Finn Mund: This is a very nice indoor pool that offers swimmers to swim long course (50m). Most importantly - at least in my opinion - the staff is very friendly and always up for a little talk! I can get a little crowded in the lanes, though...

Boshra Javaheri: A big swimming pool with three different pace lanes which is very nice. The water was crystal clear and the swimming pool was clean and tidy!Because of the Covid measurements it is not possible to use the lockers and the time slots are 45 minutes!

Coffee Freak: 50 meterbath swimming was great. You have 3 type of lanes, slow, medium and fast. So you can swim in your own pace and not blocking others.
Teuntje Zijp: I was very clumsy, I came late, I wanted to enter via the wrong entrance, and I realized that I forgot stuff inside when I was just outside and the pool was officially closed. But the guard was very nice to me, and I managed to get my stuff anyways. She told me that this was an exception and it should not happen again. I was lucky she was in charge of closing the pool. But all in all, I had a wonderful experience! The pool was clean. The only thing which was sad was that the showers were shut down. Corona measures probably.

Polina List: I like this swimming pool a lot. They have pool with lines (25 m) and also pool for recreation and children. There is also big open space pool (with slide) in the garden, but it’s open in summer. You can buy monthly pass and use it by yourself or split with somebody. The price of day visit with pass it ~4 euro, time of visit is unlimited. They have lockers, shower and hair dryer. Don’t forget your glasses!
Cecilia: I love! It’s great to be in the pool when it is freezing outside. The food is typically what you find in Dutch parks, fries, bitterballen...Bring 59 cent coins to use the big lockers that are located in the ground floor.

Some uncommon features for me as a Scandinavian were: No public sauna Unisex changing room No showers before entering the bath area Recommend bringing 50c coins for use in the lockers. Separate lockers available inside the bath so you can bring valuables there instead of the main locker. Good if you want to have a snack in the cafe for example.

Ema Gregorova: Very disappointed. I went to this pool a few times in corona in 2020 and I was satisfied with everything. However, today, I went for a morning swim and the pool was very dirty. I understand that an outside pool can have sand and leaves inside. But 20 centimeters balls of hair all over the pool is something else! Seems like the pool wasn’t cleaned in months.. The positive side is that the staff was very nice and helpful. However, cleanliness in pools is very important for me.
Hakan KILIÇ: No rule, no audit. Everybody jump to the pool with body dirt(without taking any douche). Lane pool is like a place for children to play. No chance to swim regularly. Everybody jump on your head.
Prefiro Destilado: The pool is pretty cool but the personnel from the food court is terrible. I placed my order and it took forever. Until I noticed they forgot it and then I pointed it out. They handed out other orders with my same food item for people that just ordered and left me waiting. No sorry, no nothing. Really onvriendelijk!
Magda As: The staffs lied to us. They closed the indoor swimming pool because they said the temperature inside was 50°c and outside was 25°c. I know how at least 40°c feel like. I also checked it, it was 22°c.
Ankur Verma: Very nice swimming/fun pool for kids of all ages and adults, reasonably priced and icing on cake is free parking on Sunday and festivals. Also there are ample options in case you are looking for quick bites between your pool session.

Recreational swimming (25m), slides, saunas and hot tubs, a wave machine, many different water depths, and I believe there are also outdoor pools in the summer. I would definitely recommend a visit. The prices are also very reasonable

אורי ברק: Great 25 meter pool, easy view to analog and digital clocks. Large floor to ceiling windows poolside, allowing for lots of daylight in. Nice instruction-pool next to it. Very clean changing rooms and showers. Nice Cafe on premises. Close to city center. Just note, they are in the process of linking payment options to international credit cards. For now, they do not accept cash or none-Dutch cards...

Luca Mengoli: It is a decent swimming pool with one for adults and one for kids. The locker system is advanced, through digital touch free bracelets. Staff is friendly and entry cost are affordable. If they were to install sauna and Turkish bath it would be a killer experience!

Kapuy Marta: i visit there for baby swimming what both of us are enjoy a lot. the changing room is nice, there is a mother + baby and father + baby room. however the mother + baby can get very crowded, and sometimes has to wait for free spot to fix your baby.
