Helena Roecks: This is by far the best beauty academy for make up and hairstyling in the Netherlands. The teachers really love what they do and they are real coaches, they support you very well in your journey to become a make up artist or hairstylist. I followed the English classes. Very professional and great looking academy with lots of space. Love the style as well! If you are looking for a make up school, look no further, Dutch Beauty Academy is what you need!

abir: I am very satisfied with the make-up training at Dutch Beauty Academy. I have done a make-up training before at another well-known make-up school, but the quality and professionalism was not nearly as good as at Dutch Beauty Academy. After only 2 lessons I had already learned so much. You are also really motivated to get the best out of yourself and that is super nice! Everything is well organized and they help you to gain practical experience. I give Dutch Beauty Academy a big 10 and certainly worth 5 stars! Highly recommended.

Brit Rietveld-Harnisch: A very good and fun training. I have done makeup and hairstyling. You really learn everything from basic makeup to Arabic makeup. And with hairstyling from braids to creative avant garde hairstyles and everything in between. The teachers are passionate professionals who also give you the space to develop your own creativity. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to become a good makeup artist/hairstylist.

Nederlandse Beauty School Amsterdam: what do users think?
Erika Reinders: I followed Fashion Design training last year and I was very satisfied! Many different facets of the profession were discussed: from fashion history to pattern drawing to real sewing, everything that helps you to become a starting fashion designer. I liked the exam the most, where we made our own collection from concept to sketches to the real homemade clothing! We had a very sweet, patient and helpful teacher and a small class so you get a lot of personal time and help. The location was also great and the school is very cozy and neat. Definitely recommended to follow a training here!
Boris Paijmans: I followed the fashion design course this year, and I would recommend this to everyone!! I learned a lot about not only the theory such as fashion history and fabric knowledge, but of course also how to use a sewing machine and pattern drawing by working on different collections. It is therefore a very versatile training where you learn everything you need to become a fashion designer. I also have only good things to say about our teacher - she is always ready to help us, explains things clearly and makes sure that the atmosphere in the classroom is always pleasant. I would say that you definitely need a passion to become a real designer and not just learn to make clothes, because there is (fortunately) a lot of emphasis on the creative process and conceptualization. Now on to the AMFI!

Nermine Abdelmasih: An awesome & insightful school! Perfect to pave your way towards becoming a professional make-up artist, with many opportunities and special events available! Lots of sweet, understanding, & experienced team who are all willing to help you reach a step further! Milada my educator have been so helpful , supportive and friendly since the first day of the course, tried to motivate me and other students , inspired us and helps us to be more creative. Even other educators were so nice and helpful in every way. Judith was so supportive and helpful and always visit us in class to check if we have any questions or complains. For me Art Of Colors is my second family! I had a great time there and have made a lot of friendships that will last even after the course. We had the opportunity to meet many leaders from the industry in the Masterclasses arranged by the school & the team helps us with several internships that allows us to have communications outside of the academy itself. Loved this amazing experience.. Definitely recommended! ♥️

Divine Tayrus: If you’re a beginner and you are looking for a makeup school, art of colors is the best choice. It offers both English and Dutch classes. The lessons are very varied and informative. The people are very welcoming and the environment is warm and lively. I’ve had the best time in art of colors. Flavio my teacher have been very supportive since the beginning to the end. And Judith was very helpful in every way. Among other things, Internships are arranged where it can help you build your folio and you can attend a lot of masterclass from different makeup brands. If there’s one thing I can hope in the future is they will add a lesson for mature skin and a more wide variety of choices for the makeup kit and BRUSHES. But over all Art of colors was a life changing experience for me. I’ve made a bond that I know that is for keeps.

Kirsi S.: Loved studying at Art of Colors. Our teacher was very professional, but also supporting and kind whenever I needed help. The internships through school were amazing and very much needed in order to get certainty in working as a makeup artist. Sometimes I struggled finding a model for a class or my model would cancel a couple hours before the lesson, but I always got help from school and they found me someone to have as a model, even with very short notice.

Tori Anneke Camporeale: As a transgender woman, I was immediately welcomed with love and open arms by the staff as well as the students. I walked in with zero experience and walked out with all the experience and confidence I needed to do my own makeup. The instructors and staff are very friendly, warm, up-to-date with current trends and well versed in the classic approach of makeup. My instructor Jimmy who encouraged me to stick with it even though I was about to drop out a few times cause I felt I didn’t have the skills to. The school really values their students and they do listen to you. Totally recommend if you want to be a serious makeup artist or doing it for your own personal growth. I’ve seen many from my class been placed in real jobs throughout the Netherlands. This is a real deal national accredited school and not a workshop. I miss those 9 months and I will always remember everyone in my class. Truly a great school with mix of age groups and genders. Cristina R: I can totally recommend Art of Colors if you want to become a certified makeup artist or just want to perfect your makeup skills. From the open day I felt very welcome, I received a lot of information regarding the program and was able to see the makeup kits available to ensure I pick the right one for my needs. The teachers are professional makeup artists with a lot of experience in the industry and every one of them shares their tips and tricks that are so important for a beginner makeup artist. During the lesson students can also make use of school material – makeup products from professional brands such as NARS, MAC. Additional to the classes, Art of Colors facilitates masterclasses in collaboration with various makeup brands; they offer internships that help students with ‘on the job’ experience and also on expanding their network; and facilitate job selections. Overall a great experience!

Elizabeth Cook: Monique and Wenke are wonderful. The practice is beautiful, profesional and welcoming. I am 32 and just starting to see cellulite around my thighs. They recommended endermologie which massages the fat with a special machine. I’ve had one treatment so far and I’m so happy. It has been very effective as I have already seen about 50% improvement. I would definitely recommend the two of them!

Andrew Matthews: Went for a pedicure, which is generally much harder work to complete on men. However the staff were very friendly and lovely, offering tea or coffee before we began. The quality of my pedicure was fantastic and the price was very worth it. My feet look and feel like a new pair. Highly recommend will definitely return.

Double Trouble: I am super happy with my nails. At le tres chic in Amsterdam East super central. Very warm people you feel right at home. You will be looked after so well and professionally and listened to your nail and beauty wishes. Here you can go for your nails as well as your eyelash extensions, facial treatments. Really the best in Amsterdam. Highly recommended.

Marie Mia: I can recommend this case 100%. I was welcomed very hospitably by the owner of LTC. She has a warm appearance and immediately gave me a sense of confidence. After my cup of tea, I was received by Djenaira in the treatment room. She told me that she is still studying Beautician, but I think she is already very capable of treating clients in a professional manner. I had a wonderful facial, which consisted of a deep cleanse and a mask for hydration. Based on my skin needs, she used an Aloe Vera mask. The thing that I found particularly remarkable is that the owner has a lot of knowledge about treating dark skin. At the end of the treatment my skin was glowing. I am very satisfied and LTC certainly has a new regular customer!
