Dobby Misheva: Splendid experience! Our husky looked and smelled incredible after the pet wash. We were also impressed by the polite and professional service. The groomer explained every detail of the procedure and made sure that the dog is comfortable. We will definitely come back here next time our dog needs a good wash. 100% recommend!
Iliya Georgiev: We were happy with our puppy's haircut. The lady which took the puppy was very friendly and even though our dog was a bit scared in the beginning, later when we picked her up she was totally relaxed.

Margaux Bouniol: Every time I’ve gone to get my dog’s nails clipped, I was helped immediately (even as a walk-in with no appointment). They handle her very well and sometimes let me come into the station with them, as my dog is very anxious.

Update: after visiting Reino my puppy is now terrified anytime she sees me grab a brush and will not let me approach her if she sees it in my hand. I won't change my review score because I didn't see anything that would lead me to 100% say it was because of something that happened during our visit to Reino, but to be on the safe side I will not be returning.
jos wulms: First time yesterday. We have 2 Shipoos ( Shitzu/ Toy poedel) Dax 1,5 year was scheduled and Mila the groomer squeezed Otis the puppy in as well. The result was fantastic for both dogs. The salon is very professional. The atmosphere is nice and friendly. Absolutely go back with both dogs. Thanks Mila and the rest of the team. TONY JOHN: Señor Woof just got his 5th haircut and he looks like a canine Brad Pitt! While there have been haircuts that weren’t exactly what I wanted, I put it down more to my lack of clarity in explaining what I wanted than the skill of the groomer. Most important possibly is that I find the staff here super polite, they care about how owners feel about the work done, and they’re passionate about making their four legged customers look awesome. I’d definitely recommend this business, so long as they stay as committed to doing great work. But they’re usually fully booked so use the website to reserve a slot!
Param: Took my Goberian Kublai (1,5 years) 35kgs for the first time last week and the results were fantastic. Staff is friendly. He got done much before the time they mentioned. You can choose to go home while the treatment happens or you can choose to have a couple of beers in the brewboys bar just opposite. In case you're driving, there's usually parking in the lane just opposite right next to the Brouwerij brewery. (Another option to chill abs have a couple beers while the treatment gets done :) ) Charged approx €70 for skin and hair treatment, nail clipping, shower etc.
Valentina Savoia: I've been a client for some time now, they always did a great job with the cut. But today l experienced a very weird situation, where l booked a cut and only upon my arrival they told me that the lady assigned to my dog had to leave so they couldn't do the cut today. The weird thing was that one employer was free, she could have start already with my dog (who is 5 kg) as we arrived earlier and the other dog was late. Emergencies can happen but: 1. You should inform the client before the appointment by mail, sms or call. They tried to call me just once yesterday and that's it. No messages, no emails no info about the cancellation. 2. I felt like the client B, still don't get why the other lady couldn't have start with my dog as l told them l don't care who does the cut, and that l only had that few hours free. But no, instead l had to wait to see if client A was coming or not. 🤔 They offered me other time slots (early in the morning or late in the afternoon) that don't work for me, so we sadly came back home without any service, just lost time. 😒

Elliott Rubio: I first found the Hondentrimsalon Amsterdam when the two Bichon Frise I was caring for needed grooming and I was super impressed with the results. When it was time for Maggie and Levi to have a wash and nail trim I knew I wanted to try Louisa and her salon for myself. The whole experience is just First Class and I could sense the real love for the dogs from Louisa. From the moment I requested a booking to the moment I returned to pick up the little ones everything was communicated brilliantly. Top marks too for the photo that was sent over to show how Maggie and Levi were getting on. It's these little details that make all the difference. The salon is so easy to get to, a short walk from the number 2 tram. Maggie and Levi left the salon looking and smelling like movie stars! I know I will only be recommending Louisa and her salon to everyone from now on.

Janaina Cesa: We took our poodle Bo, 7 months old, to trim his hair at the Hondentrimsalon Amsterdam for the first time in his life. His hair was very long, with many nods. We were looking for a very natural cut, something soft and gentle. Unfortunately for our surprise after the hair cut Bo looked like a typical hair groomed poodle, way different than the pictures we have provided as a reference. Though I understand that his case was difficult, I would have appreciated more communication before trimming Bo that much. Other than that, the contact was super friendly and we really appreciated how good was the care with our dog.
Response: Thanks for your response. Unfortunately I had no choice but to remove the felt/tangles from your dog. From what was left I tried to make something beautiful out of it. I thought it was such a shame to shave it completely short. If the dog has been washed, the hair will always become very fluffy during blow-drying. But as soon as a rain shower passes or you wet the hair, it will regain its "natural cut" or wild curls.

Denise Panlilio: Based on the reviews and a positive first experience, my mom wanted to continue her pup’s trimming sessions at Lucky Tails and thought she found the perfect grooming place. So I decided to come with her for her 2nd time and already as soon as we came in, the lady working on her own wouldn’t even smile or properly greet us. She spoke to my mom as if my mom had to know the procedure at the back of her head, lack of outstanding customer service. Whilst my mom was busy trying to get her pup out of his leash, a 2nd customer came in. Throughout this mini busy situation, I noticed how she aggressively would grab the dog she was working on to stay put for a picture. When I spoke to my mom after, she said it was a complete different lady who worked on her pup the first time and she hoped her pup was receiving proper treatment. I work at a customer service focused environment, it’s understandable how working alone can be quite stressful and in this instance, surrounded by dogs and hence it can get quite chaotic when they are excited. However, it still does not justify the lack of proper customer service. Hence, I’m giving 3 stars instead of 5 since I believe the lady during the first time did an amazing job and my mother was happy with the treatment.

Rids Amin: My Samoyed - Yuzu - is a difficult breed to clean up and brush - they did a great job, Yuzu also seemed less stressed - as usually he gets v stressed after grooming sessions - which tells me he enjoyed. I have found the grooming place for Yuzu in Amsterdam!

Aleksey: Cat’s grooming is not a strong part of this establishment. They haven’t done much for our cat, even though we paid for the full grooming package. They didn’t clean cat’s ears, didn’t shower him, also didn’t cut the hair in cat’s paws. And the lady that handled the procedure was not exactly kind and professional.
Response: Thank you for taking your time to give us a review, as these help us to grow. We always agree on the service we are going to provide before doing it. The person who brought the cat (not the same person as the one who wrote the review) agreed with us that the cat did not need to be washed. Therefore, we did not wash him, we only trimmed the hair on the belly and brushed him. We charged only for that tailored service and not for the full grooming service. We care about our clients, and we will always make sure that we are improving for them.

Karyna: Pamppy is the best dogs grooming salon in town and our dogs love it! They have a real relaxing spa day every time we bring them here. We’re always sure that the dogs are in good hands :) Also, it’s very handy that they have a pick up and delivery service, it saves us a lot of time.

Carol Do: We recently moved to Amsterdam from the US (SF Bay area) and were looking for our new go-to groomer. Our 10yo shih tzu has been accustomed to being professionally groomed every 5-6 weeks for most of his life, and he has maintained a very unique style, along with having a few personality quirks. Since I still do not use WhatsApp, I messaged them on Instagram instead and was able to make an appointment easily through there. My first impression of Pamppy's space was that it felt very safe (the entrance/exit had multiple layers as a barrier to flighty creatures). It was also very clean, smelled great, and looked very colorful and welcoming. The ladies at Pamppy were extremely attentive as soon as we stepped in. They listened to all the details for exactly how I wanted him cut and handled (for example, he hates clippers on his nails and does much better with the file instead), and they asked very mindful questions, such as clarifying things about his style and if he had any specific allergies. After chatting with them, I felt very comfortable leaving him in their hands, and when I picked him back up after about 2 hours, my trust in them was validated. He looked amazing, his face was the cleanest I had ever seen, and I was told he was extremely well-behaved, which is always a good sign, since he has a history of being very anxious/stressed at previous groomers. He's had no issues at all in the week since the appointment. Starting over in a new city (let alone one on the other side of the world) can be very stressful. I'm so happy that we've been able to find a new groomer here in our new home that we can trust to give our pooch the best care possible. We will definitely be returning to Pamppy's great service! (Since I'm terrible at remembering to take photos right away, note that these photos were taken about a week after our appointment, so he's had his face in good food and rainy walks since then lol..)
Dayra Terreros: This place is seriously amazing! Great, efficient service and kind, knowledgeable staff. I also really appreciated the state-of-the-art clean facilities where Cocoa was able to freely roam around post-bath instead of being locked in a cage or room like other grooming salons do. I can't recommend Pamppy enough! Cocoa looks amazing.
Mandy Lin: Absolutely hands down the best groomer in the Netherlands. Our furry friend had been to 2 other groomers in Den Bosch, but we were never pleased. Until Oli walked out of Pamppy, we were first amazed by how shiny and fluffy his fur felt, and they detangled all his badly matted hair. He is a chow chow which is extremely hard to groom so we didn’t have high expectations on how clean and neat he would ever get, but Pamppy really really got it done right.

I am super pleased with the service and their cuts 🐾🖤 They were the most handsome happy bears that walked out of their spa day. Natalie Paret: Super pleased with this business. It was the first time I have ever taken my dog to a professional groomer. When setting up the appointment they told me they had a particular service for my dog’s breed (dachshund) which was nice to hear. When I arrived i found that the welcome area was very clean and spacious. The groomers were super nice and patient and we discussed the main things I wished for them to do. They are knowledgeable and made good suggestions about hair length etc so I feel they guided me to ensure a great result. They finished early and were nice enough to wait for me to come pick my dog up as I didn’t realize they’d finish quickly. He looked amazing and also seemed completely comfortable and relaxed. Very much worth the price and I’ll be back soon!

Hope Kitterman: Oh man we love Linda and her little styling studio in Oost. My terrier ran up to her in the neighborhood (I think he sensed she was a dog person) and she revealed she was a dog groomer, so for his next groom, we paid her a visit. When we arrived, my dog (aussie terrier) ran right in and started playing and goofing around immediately, happy to be there. Linda and her colleague took care of Mate for 2.5 hours, and made him look sooo handsome. I couldnt be happier with the experience and result. Thank you <3

Marthy van Bakel: A wonderfully clean and relaxed new salon with lovely, patient owners. Linda washes, cuts and shaves the dogs focused, with all the patience in the world and with knowledge. Our dog was always a little nervous and shaky at the groomer. She was not bothered by this at Petstylist Linda. So: even if we have to travel for it, we are happy to pay for it. For us this is now 'the place to be' for our dog.
