A. N.: Recommended. Nice place to chill out on the outside terrace after a busy day downtown, and sample some great craft beers. Take the number 7 or 14 tram, which both stop around the corner. Note: this is a beer place, so do not expect a lot of other types of drinks.
Melissa Pevey: Wow. While this brewery is a bit of of the city center it is worth the walk (or take the tram!) Each of the beers were fantastic and had their own distinct flavor and the building itself is gorgeous. We each got the flight and loved everything so much we purchased some swag as well. There was light snacks but we had just eaten lunch so didn’t get to try anything.
Chhandosee Bhattacharya: Took a sample of all beers and tried the amous Dutch Bar snack, Bitterballen. Loved it. All the beers were amazing with a great and lively ambience. All the five samples cost €15. They also provide a brewery tour. A must visit when you are in Amsterdam.
Munira Ali: Like any other brewery! I liked ambience, vibe and beer of this place. Beer taste sample is €11 in which you 5 different type of beer to taste. ( pls see picture) Its mostly a drinking spot, eating selection is less. Its a fun place. There was nothing special into this place. I dont know why there are so many reviews. Perhaps the only brewery here. If you are first timer here and have some extra time this is must visit
Alexandra Empie: Great outdoor patio with lots of locals enjoying cold beers. There was a guy who passed out and fell down, he’s OK. The beer is great with lots of options. The food was fine. The small platter was more than enough for two.
Chris R: Amazing bar and brewery. Love to go here. Great vibes, friendly staff and also good beer. Especially IJ wit is recommendable in my opinion. They also serve small “platter” with cheese and sausages next to the beer. Check out this place!
C “MrCikiro” C: Lovely cafe in the middle of the park. You can chill having a bite of one of their awesome panini and drink a beer - in summer is just incredible! The atmosphere is very chilled, great vibes all around. They have vegan options which is very nice 😊 give it a try if you get the chance!

Rawad Dalal: Very nice place to discover in the Noord area. The fact that they have their own brewery is super cool and you get to try many types of beer. They only had burgers and they were good. The places ambient is fun and full of energy. Staff are nice. { recommended }
Response: Hi Rawad Thanks for your visit and good vibes 😁🍻
khushal virmani: Tasty beer with amazing food. Ambience is also very nice. Oedipus pilsner is a tasty beer with a different fragrance. Kamikaze fries are just amazing but a bit spicy. Serving size is also good for two people.
Matt Janett: Yes yes yes. What a choice. Huge selection of craft beers coupled with some of the most tasty burgers and fries you have ever tasted makes for an unforgettable experience. The staff are friendly and the vibe was awesome. Worth the trip over from Amsterdam central. €3 for fresh house made Gaia (IPA) is epic.
David McClinton: Decent place for a day out and has a very friendly atmosphere. Food is one of the best parts of the place and the selection of beer is incredible. Outside and inside seating. Photos do not do the food justice!!
Paty: Got there at 15:00 and left at 20:00 😅 The vibes are great and the bartenders are always happy to give you recommendations for the type of beer you didn’t know you wanted. The food is also really nice, we tried the Chili Cheese (beef) and the Cool Ruler (chicken) and both were great! If you want to go somewhere with different vibes to the rest of Amsterdam, this is definitely a great place to go to!
Tamas Molnar: Amazing atmosphere, wide selection of really unique and delicious beers.(12 taps) Staff was really nice, loved it there.
Response: Thank you so much Tamas, hope to see you again in our Taproom
Lenka Lesko: Chilled vibe with great music and beers. Nice setting for a late pint with pleasant service.

Bram van Tulder: The most amazing brewery where only amazing people work and where the best beers on the planet are served!
Brian McCarthy: Great beer! WARNING: this brewery does not have a taproom, so don’t be an idiot like me and go there expecting one! They do have a restaurant, Bar Alt down in Stadionbuurt.
Derek Vonk: These chefs that are brewing these beers are doing something else. This is me and my dad tasting their Howling Wolf and a Funky Falcon at their brewery where anyone is welcome to come over and say hi! Big fans!
Christian H: Really great beers. Especially White Mamba, definitely the best beer I have ever had!Keep going!Groetjes uit Duitsland
Rosalien Derkinderen: Enthusiast people making tasty craft beers! Industrial playful office, nice brewteam. Especially that Italian brewer.
José Gallegos: Amazing service via email and phone - quickly cleared up some confusion with my order and delivered my beers just in time for the weekend. Will order again before the lockdown is over.
Left side M: Brilliant service and a nice place to have a beer.
Lucca Quistani: Great local beer
René Koning: Their beers cured my personality disorder. Would drink again 10/10

Ridhi Jass: Great Ambience. Good beer. Helpful and polite staff. Nice place to try fresh beer on the tap. New England is a must try if you enjoy light fruity flavors
Response: Hi Ridhi, thank you for your kind feedback! Glad to hear you enjoyed your visit. Hopefully we can welcome you again if you're around! cheers
Alessandra Alari: Very nice place with great choices of beers. My cheese and fries were excellent too!

David Paterson: Great brewery (I love a brewery) with a wide selection of beer types in a great building. Would be a great place to hang out with a group of friends
Response: Hi David, thanks for your kind words! Love to hear you enjoyed your visit. Hope to see you again! Cheers
Denise Klink: The inside looks a little quaint, the borrel snacks are okay, but pricey. Of course we came here for the beer and that was DELICIOUS!
Response: Hi Denise, Thank you for the positive review! Good to hear that you liked the beers! See you next time. Cheers Team Troost de Pijp
Simon Bradford: Vegan place but tasty food and great selection of different beers
Response: Hi Simon, Thank you for the 5-star review! Nice to hear that our vegan options on our vegetarian menu were tasty. We like that our selection of beers is wide as well. See you next time, Team Troost de Pijp
Peter Paul: One of the beat brewed beer bars in town. Has a bunch of different seating options and serves some really incredible beer. Loved all the flavours of the beers here. I especially liked the triple. The staff are super friendly and the food is really really good for a bar. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good beer. I would recommend booking a table ahead of time as this place is very popular and gets quite full quickly especially towards the evenings. Highly recommended
Response: Hi Peter Paul, Thanks for the stars and the kind words!
Camille Chassaing: There is no meat AT ALL The pub is cool but honestly be more clear on the fact there is no way to eat a REAL burger (burger with no meat isn’t a burger sorry…) because I should haven’t come if I knew it… what a disappointment !
Response: Hi Camille, We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience at our brewery. Our choice to become vegetarian is a statement we try to make for a better planet and to show that our pubfood can be delicious without meat. Thank you for your compliment about our brewery! Cheers, Team Troost de Pijp

Lars Koehler: I spent more time here than anticipated, but it was time spent well. A craft beer bar how it should be. 30 beers of a very broad range of styles on tab mixed with a cosy interior. Very friendly, enthusiastic staff, you can ask for recommendations. Very good, maybe a little pricy, but definetly worth it, bar food, especially burgers. I had a cricket burger ( they also serve beef, Chicken, Pulled Pork , seaweed etc.), that was convincingly good. I recommend all beer enthusiasts or bar afficionados to visit here, while visiting Amsterdam. Its a diamond hidden in a side alley.
