khushal virmani: I am a regular visitor and really love the friendly students. They do an amazing job and give their best. Special thanks to Quinty and Storm for an amazing haircut. It cost around 15€ for an haircut with headwash which is the cheapest in Amsterdam.

kelsang damdul: 0 stars Sunday7 August only one barber. Cut my son hair for (I swear)4 minutes. Hé ran the trimmer on the sides and finished. Of course my son wants to keep his hair long that doesn’t mean you leave others parts as it is.On the middle he did some gel ..(one of the worst barber professionally) When we asked so fast!!!he proudly said,I am professional. Advice to the person: BE Honest!!

Artem Stadnik: I went in for a simple buzz cut and got the worst hairline possible. The hairdresser offered to do a line up and I asked to knly do the sides. Now I have a bowl cut looking buzzcut. Never go to this place as only kne barber out of four actually knows how to use the tools.

Josh Kirshenbaum: Rezza dry shaved my neck with a blade and I walked out with blood dripping down my neck and razor burn covering my neck. No apology from Rezza even though this was clearly his fault. I asked him not to put any product on my neck as the skin was very irritated but he sprayed my neck with some after shave anyways and I broke out in hives. When I went back 2 days later to find out what was in the spray he used (still with bad hives) he got super defensive and was extremely rude. Still no apology or anything from him. Will NEVER go back here. Bad experience overall.

Alice Lorenzon: Very disappointing experience and astonished that Toni & Guy is associated with this hairdresser salon. Had my full head highlights done and they turned out way more blondish than I requested (caramel). After three weeks I went to tone the highlights since they were really blond-yellow asking again for a caramel colour. I came out with a mix of caramel and BLUE. Totally shocked and greatly disappointed.

Kristina Nyberg: Located in luxurious Magna Plaza, on the top floor, it is easy to find and despite the central location not too hard to get an appointment on short notice. After going there regularly, I am happy with service. The hairdressers are from all over the world, in true Amsterdam spirit. They always take your coat, offer a drink, wash/massage your hair thoroughly and as they are taught good techniques, the haircuts are great. Prices are high end, but the experience and consistency is in my opinion worth paying a little extra for. A potential con is if you want to get crazy; after giving them free hands they did not really do anything out of the ordinary and "played it safe". Many hairdressers would maybe have killed for getting to do whatever they wanted with my hair. The haircut was good, but I think Toni&Guy is best for safe players that want a consistent haircut or give specific direction and if you want to get experimental then go somewhere else.

Oksana Nikitenko: My friend suggested me hairdresser Konrad to refresh my hair-color. I thought I’ll have gorgeous hairstyle for my daughter’s birthday and interview with employer, but got terrible experience in the salon and terrible hairstyle which makes me visually older instead. Everything started going wrong when my hairdresser which I booked appointment with, got sick and I got another hairstylist. I asked to dye my hairs in “cold brown” however I got “cold BLACK”. The color is very uneven and terrible(my end are black whereas roots are brown). As soon as my hairdresser finished to color my hair she sent me to her colleague which was doing some own stuff and didn’t pay attention to me as a client until I asked directly to blow-dry my wet hair. Eventually my hair wasn’t dried completely and brushing during the blow drying was harsh and painful. The only thing that didn’t disappoint was coffee. I agreed to pay 90€ instead of 52(as it was estimated when I was booking an appointment). 2 weeks ago I fled Ukraine, and 90€ is very high price for me now, especially for very disappointing service and hairstyle(which I also made right before my interview with employer)

Yana Trifonova: Attention! Even if you make an appointment on the website and confirmed it in a day before, you still have a chance to be with another stylist. I made an appointment with style director. When I came I was asked to wait (this is okay), then we discussed what I want and then I asked to wait again. After my hair was washed I was informed that I will be with another person, because of some issues in the computer (what?). No apologies, nothing. In the middle of my haircut I was told that I will get a discount which I thought was quit nice. After haircut I paid 70€ and I realized that this is a normal price for my cut with a stylist, so no actual discount were made by the person promised me it.

Gillian Murphy: Doesn’t even deserve 1*. Thee worst hairdressers I’ve ever been too. Went in for a balayage… what I left with was HORRIFYING! My hair is a zebra crossing and LITERALLY falling out! My hair is naturally thick and healthy so the damage here was EXTREME. First hairdresser messed it up terribly, they then tried to fix it making it worse. Pictures speak for themselves. Avoid at all costs. I had to cut 5 inches of my own hair off at home due to the damage this hairdresser caused. To say I’m distraught is an understatement! Service: Hair coloring
