Our box was founded in 2009, that makes us the first box in Amsterdam and one of the oldest CrossFit boxes in the BeNeLux. Over the years we gained a lot of experience and knowledge. We have a great team of well-educated coaches who love CrossFit and have a huge passion for teaching and helping our athletes improve their skills.

This is not just a CrossFit box. We are truly committed to our athletes. Therefore we find it important that everyone gets personal attention, is making progress and movements are performed with proper technique.

We want you to move well for the next fifty years, not just the next five minutes! Therefore we strive for the right balance between quality and intensity in every WOD! The main reason for doing what we do at CrossFit Zeeburg is to make you fit and feel more confident. We want to make sure you are still kicking ass when you’re 90 years old.

We want to make CrossFit available for everyone, regardless of fitness level or age and prove that it is not scary.

This is our most popular program that we do about 3 times per year. Fatloss is the main goal of this program and with a lot of very personal guidance from our nutrition coach Nicky the results are just absolutely amazing. Every single time.

If you are experienced we offer various memberships for different situations. Our unlimited membership is by far the most popular and most cosst efficient one. The longer you commit, the lower the price you pay. Getting healthy is a marathon and not a sprint so why wait any longer?

In our box we do constantly varied, functional movements (like squats and push-ups) at a high-intensity. Functional movements are organic in nature, innate to our DNA and essential to our quality of life. We train for longevity, we train for health and most of all, we train for fun.

Each day we have a new workout, called the Workout Of the Day! This is simply the routine you’ll be doing when you hit the box — the movements and the structure of the workout, which changes daily. Constantly varied is the key to succes.

Also known as the Benchmark workouts, the Girls and Heroes are globally used to test your fitness and keep track of your progress. We will throw in these benchmarks once in a while to see if you’ve improved over the last time you did this workout.

The best part of CrossFit Aan ‘t IJ is its community. Being part of this community is what makes CrossFit unique; everyone knows one another, you suffer together, there is always someone to help with technique, you compare WOD results, discuss competitions etc.
