Pedrão Oliveira: Amazing place! Just the best restaurant I've ever tried in Amsterdam... simply awesome!! They are open to breakfast, lunch and dinner on very extended hours. You pay for the weight of your plate, pretty fair. There are a whole lotta options and all of it is so delicious. You gotta try the food here! No regrets, I can imagine. All vegetarian meal. Many vegan options.
Greta F.: Amazing Spirit! Our hotel was in the area and we visited the restaurant twice. Lovely vegan food, with lots of options. It’s buffet style and you weight your plate before paying. Definitely recommend!

rakel zetterlund: Truly wonderful spot in Amsterdam Oost. The whole vibe is friendly and comfortable. Vegan/Vegetarian food was delicious with so many options available buffet style and charged by weight. It can definitely get pricey if you eat alot. Tasty beer on tap too! Highly recommend.
Danny Joyce: Great concept, amazing vegan food, very relaxed vibe almost like working-café, a little pricey perhaps, but deffo worth it. Staff were pleasant but not super attentive. I would go out of my way to come here, one of the better vegan restaurants in Amsterdam.
Ryan Robinson: Quite possibly the best vegan restaurant for all-day options. The vegan buffet options for breakfast, lunch and dinner are all fantastic. And while this place is vegetarian first, about 90% of the ~50 food items in the buffet area were vegan for the dinner I had and everything was delicious. Seitan steak, a tempeh bao bun, vegan potato salad, Swiss chard chickpea salad and roasted carrots. I’ll be coming back here for sure. You can also co-work from here with your laptop and have coffee/drinks anytime of day. A true hidden gem for vegans in amsterdam!
Kaloyan Dzhamdzhiev: I really dislike the way the restaurant forces me to buy the eat in soup. It's just honestly no enough when I only want to get a soup for lunch. I then go for the middle take away container and wish to enjoy my meal at the restaurant but there seems to be a ridiculous policy that you don't eat that in there. Either put out a bigger portion option for eat in or allow people to enjoy as much as they actually need. It wad not nice how they treated me with take away cutlery when I was clearly eating in. I would be happy to edit my review if you are willing to make a change.

Aleksey Popov: The staff is good. The food on the buffet on the other hand is mostly cheap. You don't have a big choice of food and there are no free drinks. Also you have only 2 desserts to choose form. So for the price of €16 it's not really worth.

Miklo Sangreporsangre: When in Amsterdam Oost go to Mesken. Authentic Oriental turkish food. Get the mixed grill Platter. Dont get scared by the price its definitly worth it. For example you are 4-5 persons order mixed grill for 3 persons that will be enough for all of you. You'll get rice,fries, bread and salad served to all the meat. I know 22+€ p.P. is a lot, but order for 3 and then divide the Bill by 4-5 persons and you'll get same prices you would pay in city centre. Here you get quality Helal food! Service good, Location clean, Food very good! They even got all you can eat Buffet. The next time I'll try the Buffet.
Mel Allred: Authentic Turkish food. As we travel on a limited budget, we look for places that offer buffets at reasonable prices. This is difficult to find in cities such a Amsterdam. Restaurant Mesken was the only place we located. It was necessary for us to take the tram into the Turkish quarter and then walk a short distance. The visit to the quarter was in itself a pleasant experience, giving us another view of the multiple societies within the European Communities. All of the other guests of the restaurant while we were there appeared to be locals of Turkish descent, so we determined that the food must be authentic to the community. I rated the restaurant less than 5 stars because the buffet was scant, compared to the usual offerings. The food was not especially to our liking, but that was our problem not theirs. It seemed to be entirely vegetarian or at least vegetation. Weekday appeared to be sauteed meats were most likely tofu or its equivalent. The highlight of the buffet was a soup, similar in appearance to tomato bisque, with a minty taste upon first spoonful, graduating into a combination of vegetable flavors that were distinct and flavorful.

Fatima: We were on our way back to the airport when we were recommended by a family friend to come and dine at Florya, a self-catering restaurant and cafe. To our pleasant surprise, situated on a beautiful deck above water, the family-friendly restaurant and cafe was very welcoming with its rays of sunlight. The staff were very passionate and polite with their service, and we could not fault both themselves and the food quality as everything was excellently executed which is important in every successful restaurant and cafe. You cannot help but fall in love with the scenery and the serene halal food and halal menu. We will definitely be back to come and dine at Florya again and highly recommend this restaurant and cafe to all visitors especially families who love to enjoy their halal meals. Thank you Florya for your hospitality!
Mohammed Khairy: Food is good but very low value for money, I got Beyti and it was good, but when I got mix grill it was very small amount of meat and chicken and a lot of vegies for 22+ eur. I also tried the breakfast (the open buffet), it was good but not also not good value for money and doesn't include any drinks, I expected at least 1 free drink. Lemon juice was very sour too, but oranges were good. Service is very slow even when it's not crowded, sometimes orders never come, but staff are very friendly though. Very nice vibe and comfy seating.

Kuei Vilallonga: Not bad. The passion fruit mojito mocktail was too sweet and it felt like drinking sprite with syrup. They should have put a warning on their website saying that they don’t sell alcoholic beverages. The restaurant was a bit loud which made it difficult to maintain a conversation with the person in front.
Bara'a Kana'a: Less than one star. I don‘t recommend any one to visit this Restaurant. It seems for their special parties of their friends and relatives. They don’t respond the telephone number. We wanted to eat but they excuse its after 7 or 8 p.m. We wanted to set for short time for something sweet. They excused again although there had a lot of free places. Santiago Thompson: The food is pretty good! It’s a bit expensive, but there are tons of dishes to try which vary in price, but the meat ones that are the most expensive are worth trying since not all meat in restaurants is good, but the way the meat at Florya is cooked and served makes it a stand out in comparison to other restaurants. The only issue I would say is that it takes forever to get someone to take your order once you’re seating down, my girlfriend even had an instance when she did manage to order something but it never arrived so she simply left
Afshin Loni: The food was fine, not the best Turkish food I had though. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great, on the water with areas separated for shisha smokers and non smokers. Although it gets crowded very fast. But overall we had a good experience.
Moamin Junaid: A lovely restaurant. Staff are so polite and active. Stuffs are variable and all delecious. Here you will manage to talk to them in dutch, englush, turkish or even sometimes arabic. So language is not a problem here. All food stuffs are halal for those who want this. The place is so nice and the dinner in the outside partof the rest. is something different and so cool.
Ignacio Gonzalez: Buffet brunch totally recommended. They have a wide selections of salads and "mece". There are boil eggs. Scramble eggs. Nuts, cereals. Sausages. Unlimited turkish tee.
Manar Sabban: A really good place to check out! €12.50 per person for an open buffet a lot of choices to have for a breakfast. For sure going another time! The place is clean and cozy with a nice view on the lake. Give it a try!

Bazz: I have had dinner (open buffet) more than 10 times over there and It's is always as per expectations. ( high quality, variety and not over priced). I would like to restaurant to keep their good prices and food quality. May be the service could be improved a bit as some times we are left with many empty plates on our table that should be removed more frequently. I am planning to go more in the future and advice others to do the same.

Rosanne Boermans: Great concept, good food and friendly service, but overpriced for what you get. A bottomless brunch for 64,50 serves watery Bloody Mary’s and sweet Prosecco. In my opinion not really value for money.

Tim de Laat: I thought the experience was overpriced. €46 for one dish without a side and one drink served by staff blasting Drake and late 00' hip-hop is too much, even if it is on a boat. Even having an additional complimentary tea or coffee, or a member of staff giving a "welcome to the brunch boat..." talk would go a long way to improve an experience that, to me and my partner, currently feels like a tourist ripoff.
Kat Feather: The perfect brunch trip for visitors from out of town (or in!). A super slick operation and the food is always on point. The complementary mimosas for our family celebration was very much appreciated!
