Kiira Amechi: Very great and excellent. Asked the bartender for a recommendation and was very pleased. Am tipsy in the best sense of the word and the guests here are all lively and fun to talk to. god bless the bartender, a legend! Love it this is a great place. You should go here for sure especially in the day

jordi groenveld: Alright experience but one member of the staff was by far the most rude I've experienced in a bar here in Amsterdam. Shoved me while I was leaving the bar and when I tried to apologize for anything I had done wrong I got shouted at.
Anders Heimann: Really not a good experience. We had a beer and a apple cider. It was good and as you would expect. When I would buy us a new round the first waiter we had was fixing the beer keg. So I tried the second waiter. He was just so rude! At this time there was not busy at the bar, but the waiter ignored me several times and I really do not know why. For example he served a girl that just walked through everybody and yelled. The fourth time I tried to get in touch we had eye contact and he said ‘one minuet’. I thought ‘we’ll okay I will wait’. Than two new girls entered the bar and stood next to me. The same waiter saw the two new girls and rushed right to them to take their order. Well noted that I stood right next to them still waiting. Than we took off immediately. We’re really not into deliberate discrimination. Do not support this place.
Black Onyx: This is a US-themed bar, like a traditional American Sports Bar in which you can sit up and enjoy wings whilst watching a game, or retire to the upstairs room in which football plays in larger screens. Wifi works well, service is good - I enjoyed a beer or two there, but found it a bit pricey. I never ate, so can't comment on the meals.
Dan Mote: bartender went above and beyond to try and accommodate my party. tried streaming a football game from his phone to a tv for us- very friendly service.

Dawn Axon: Called in during a snowy date in December. Very quirky little bar serving excellent food. Sat upstairs at a table with a central beer pump which would have been great fun if we weren't driving later. Nachos to share were huge and very tasty local sharing platter.

Bob Job: Amazing bar! Watched the world cup here & totally enjoyed the experience! ⚽ The staff are super friendly, speak English and Deutsch, and create an amazing vibe here. Drinks are cheap as well and the place has multiple TV's & floors. Cheers 🍻
Miss Jess: Great atmosphere while watching the France vs England World Cup match. Plenty of screens to see the game. 3 floors available for seating. Stairs from ground floor to 1st floor are very narrow... not suited to high heels Highly recommend this friendly, welcoming bar.
Dawn B.: Walked here after dinner. I noticed all the positive reviews and we decided to come here. I was hoping the place wasn't too full and it wasn't. But in fairness this was a Monday night. Since I don't drink beer, I ordered a cider. They have me a choice between Strongbow draft and Somersby Apple in a bottle. Now I like sweet ciders but wow, was it sweet. I drank it down, but I know I couldn't drink too many. My hubby had a Affigem blond and enjoyed so much. This place is send like a nice place. Both bartenders took care of us. In the US we are used to paying at the end of the stay (open tab), not each time we buy a beer, so that was new for us.
Overall Blogs: Terrifying bad.!! Seems like the security guard is the owner of the pub who was treating everyone with very negative attitude. Date: 27 December 2022 night, the behaviour is remarkably bad of this guy for no reason with almost every customer.

Hannah Sharpe: We bought lots of drinks and were refused tap water. Although I’m unsure about the legality of this, bars that serve alcohol should provide tap water as a duty of care. The staff were really rude about it as well :( poor representation of Amsterdam because Dutch people are generally really lovely.

Hameem: Excellent vibe and they have a good sense of humor with the decor. The food is awesome, and the fact that you can light one up inside adds to the taste of the food you eat afterwards :D I will definitely be visiting this place the next time I'm in Amsterdam and would fully recommend! Oh, and they have vegetarian options as well.

Florian Tschurtschenthaler: Cool place for drinks and food. The burgers and wings are very delicious. The waiters are great. Totally recommend this place and will come again.

Lee Bradshaw: Only popped in for a beer but was a decent bar which is part of the hostel, so a fairly young-ish crowd with a nice vibe. Was tempted by the food but had planned to eat elsewhere. Good offering and good prices. Plenty of people eating around me and food looked nice. Staff friendly and served with a smile, which is always nice.

Pete Rai: A great Sports Bar in the heart of Amsterdam. Loud, noisy, lively, popular. Kill some time here before heading on to De Wallen. The portions are HUGE and the food was great quality. Prices were also reasonable.
