J Pro: Bakery and cafe. Their croissants are delicious. Coffee was good too. Seating inside and outside. The whole place smelled of freshly baked pastries. It was lovely to sit down, enjoy the refreshments and observe the buzz…
Paul van den Berg: A real nice authentic Bakery with seating and a terrace. They offer quite a nice lunch menu with lots of options including a lot of homemade pastries and cakes. Of course also bread for home, even your flour to do it yourself at home.
Ivy Antunes: The croissants were sooo good! Got one with jam and one with lemon curd, both were delicious spreads. Also got a tumeric oat latte, very tasty. The building has a cool layout as well. Highly recommend!
Andrew Williamson: Lovely place, with superb coffee and wonderful baked goods. The cheese and olive croissant swirls are next level. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and great staff too

Bilge Okumus: We did sourdough bread workshop as a team building activity in Baking Lab. We were super happy and had great time. Place has a really cosy vibe to start with. During the workshop, we learned the science behind baking, witnessed different steps of bread making, had great conversations about circular baking and even baked our own pizza for dinner. Our instructors Ferdinand and Alice were super friendly and nice, made us feel at home whole evening. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a team activity or nice evening with your friends.

Jaro Verhoog: Introduction of handmade bread followed. Gift 2-day 21 loaves 7 kinds. Good explanation and instruction by experienced bakers. You really learn something here! Accommodation is top notch, as is the location. Sweet hostess present for coffee, cakes and sweets. And a delicious lunch and drinks in between. Recommended.

Selma: Friendly service in the bakery. The bread is all sourdough. Delicious almond (food) croissants €1.50. Oatcakes are tasty. Cheesecake €7 was disappointing, too compact, carrot cake too soggy and too even. Quiche loraine €6 was tasty in itself, but the bacon smelled less good. Next time try the salmon quiche €7 (the vegetarian quiche is with goat cheese).
Dirk Maessen: Today they had a pop-up shop. Very nice and informal set up. Bought different types of bread, all super tasty. Recommended! Even if you want to follow a bakery training :)

Thank you for hosting our event and helping us make it such an unforgettable experience. We chose your cooking school due to its great reviews on Trip Advisor, beautiful interior and your attitude towards us, the client . I must say that all our participants really loved the meals, the atmosphere and enjoyed the workshops as well as yours and the other chefs’ company!!! As far as the event organization is concerned we really appreciate your support Bart, you done a great job. Thank you for being responsive in the email communication, suggesting the menu options, helping us organize as well as adjusting to our needs when it comes to dietary requirements and the TV. Me personally, I really like and appreciate the way you organized it. I would like to express a special thank you to the other chefs and the members of the staff. They were amazing, helpful, caring, very friendly and chatty. We really enjoyed the workshops and the amazing food you served. I must say your cooking school is much better than the one that we went to before! Thank you again for making our evening so special!

Elena Budico: Lovely place for a more active and educative dinner out! We did a 13 people MBA team reunion dinner. We were teamed in pairs of 2&3 to cook. We also had time to catch up with one another to chit chat. Tasty food and a modern, beautiful and cozy kitchen! The host is a very pleasant man! Thank you Leo for the great evening!

Merel Huisman: Leo takes care of an intimate atmosphere and imbues himself with the people he welcomes. All forms are possible: a poetry dinner with a large group to a night out for two people. Varied dishes. Educational but also a relaxed atmosphere.

Ambassador Bas: I go to Douglas Delights as the name says it all. Not only all the wonderful delights of cakes, torts, macaroons, eclairs and much much more; but Carl is a delight in himself. He always recognizes me and I am greeted warmly by Carl as if I was an old friend. Now that shows passion for what he does. This passion comes across in everything he does from a lovely afternoon tea cake to a brilliant three tiered wedding cake he can do it all with style. From when you meet to when you leave, it’s all very good. The service fast and efficient, Carl is great; a service superstar. A 👍🏻 LIKE IS APPRECIATED FROM YOU IF YOU READ MY REVIEWS

martina blagoeva: I just finished the Cursus patisserie intensief with Carle. It was an amazing experience - a lot of useful information, techniques, and good advice from a professional. The end results from the course were "wow, did I make that myself" and I should not even comment on the taste since they were so delicious!!!! Carle is a person who can inspire you only by looking at him how much passion he puts in everything he does and how much knowledge he has! If you like baking, you will be in heaven for 4 days!!!

Aytek Mutlu: Terrible experience!!!! Avoid this place! He claimed that his workshops are both in Dutch and English, and then gave the whole workshop in Dutch. Now, he is refusing to give a refund!!! His attitude completely changed after I did the payment, now he is even ignoring our emails.
Response: Hello Aytek, sorry to hear so. I told you that the course was in Dutch, but offered you to translate the important parts for your wife. And that is what I did. The rest of the group can witness. I offered you a few other possibilities before you suddenly decided to leave the Netherlands. There is never a problem with English speaking people and your wife is still welcome to follow the fully English spoken course.
