charifa zemouri: I love the classes and professional teacher. But dear studio, please please please clean the floor with a microfiber cloth after each class, it's always super dusty, with loads of hair and I started packing a fresh pair of socks to change after class to not make my shoes dirty. You can buy simple brooms at Blokker for max 20euro with a microfiber cloth and you can do the floor in less than 5 minutes. All the dirt, dust and hairs get stick to it and you have a fresh floor for each class. Thank you

Anna Csollak: Took a beginner for adults class as a total beginner. Teacher was very professional, checked on our levels and explained all the movements. It was still challenging of course, but he kept all of us engaged. Nice location, nice studio.

Naomie van Dongen: I was a bit cautious before my first class at Zhembrovskyy, because I never danced in my life. However, during my first class I felt super welcome, the teachers give very clear instructions and when you are not able to do a certain exercise they immediately notice it and help you with an alternative exercise. The studio's are also very beautiful!
C. Durham: I was nervous because some ballet studios can be quite pretentious, but this studio was so warm and welcoming! It felt like they wanted you to learn and enjoy the class. The teacher was uber friendly and attentive! I would highly recommend this studio to anyone interested in dance!

Kimberly van den Hengel: Outstanding ballet school. Professional balletdansers will teach you their skills with grace, patience, energy and clear instruction. Also very accessible to beginners. Try their specialty, ZhemFit, a type of ballet fitness designed by Alexander Zhembrovskyy himself. Alexander sees everything and gives you personal instruction for improvement, even in a busy class. Best and most fun work-out you'll ever get!

Farida Elsharkawi: I have been dancing at Wladimir Dance Studios for almost one year now (taking 3 classes per week) and I can only say good things about them. They are super friendly, reaching out to them is quick/easy and the dance teachers there are amazing with great energy and vibes.
Claudia Sabbadin: I'm attending modern dance every week. Very passionate teachers and I love the energy during their lessons! Highly suggested if you want to get out of your comfort zone and express yourself. Plus, at the end of the lessons you can take a breath on the canal straight outside the building and enjoy the view :)
norlout: I stayd at their hotel for a weekend. The rooms were very cosy and the beds was nice to. The bathroom was big even tho the shower stall was small but it was still okay. The people who worked there treated us very kindly. The price was very cheap considuring the location. Close to well everything in the heart of Amsterdam. Will look up this hotel again next time i visit Amsterdam :)

Roxana Bouterse: Difficult to reach by phone, but eventually spoke to a great employee. Too bad the summer course is cancelled. This is against my expectations, even city pass holders are allowed to dance for free. Hopefully better next year!

Haas Jajo: Very rude owners and a very rude manager. I can say a lot about this place and nothing is positive. First of all, the owners are VERY rude. They do not take injuries seriously, so whenever dancers are injured there is no way to cancel your membership, not even with a doctor’s note. Second of all, the manager is racist. I was standing in line once behind a Eastern-European woman who bought a membership and she asked for a receipt, but the printer wasn’t working, and then the manager said in Dutch to a co-worker, “just say she can look online, she shouldn’t be so nosy, and then go help the next person”. The lady, in fact, spoke Dutch, and felt very uncomfortable. Second of all, during covid-19 times they offered their members to freeze their membership, and then when the dance centre was allowed to open up again they sent their members that the memberships were active again, and everyone who cancelled the membership right away on that day had to pay (since it needs 1 month notice, but they just randomly announced to be opening up again!!!!!) and if they refused to pay, they sent them notes from a collection agency!! Last but not least!!! Toilets are dirty, and wallets and phone get stolen on at least a monthly basis. Btw: the teachers are nice but the studio’s are fuller than full without proper sound or airconditioning and classes will just get cancelled without notice if too little students show up since again they are greedy and don’t care about dance education! Hope this was helpful. Run while you still can!!! Edited: How wonderful they replied with “and your name is”, I think this says enough people. They do not care. If you post with your name, they will make fun of you, like they do in other reviews and will pretend you’re lying, I’ve seen enough, read enough. 👋

Iris Dekker: This school is a total scam. I have a membership and go once in a while for a class. Everytime I go they have raised the prices without notifying with a lot!(5euros). Today I came in with my membershipcard and they wanted me to pay for yet another membership. Even though the membership is supposed to last forever (?!). They refused to let me do the class for the membership price even though I have a membership. Also during COVID they didn't respect the government advises. No QR checks and overfull classes. When I made a remark about that they basically told me; badluck! Will never come back again here. It's a shame because they have good teachers... I hope they treat their teachers better. As a response to the comment underneath; so they charge you with 40eu extra right after you've allready just bought a membership. The comment about them keeping COVID rules is not right. I actually left a class because it was overcrowded and there was no QR check.. I will definitely not come back and will advise every to not do so either.
Response: Dear Iris, sorry to read you are so not happy with us! I do like to take the opportunity to give you some feedback. You did buy a 1 year valid membership for 25,- in June 2021. It gave you a discount on the 7 single classes you took of 5,- per class. Since Sept 1 st 2021, the 1 year memberships have been cancelled and were replaced into a membership for live for 40,-. We did make a lot of publications about this. Sorry you missed all of that. It’s clear that you now did read the membership policies, but they are effective on the new memberships of 40,-. Your remarks about the COVID time are not correct at all. We have followed all government advices at all times. We apologize to you if you feel you’ve not been treated right. I’m sure all staff and teachers live to see you back in class. ADC

Andres: My kid does ballet for 4 year olds. The venue is new and well setup. Classes are ok. Good enough for 4 year olds, but lacking individual development and feedback.

Alba Silvente Fuentes: An amazing dance school with many classes of different styles and very good teachers 👩🏫 I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn or improve any kind of dance, from classic and technical to urban! 💃
Gabriel Zanella: Good concept but doesn't work well. The pace of the classes for beginners can be too fast and you end up learning new choreographies frequently but with very low focus on improvement and developing the basic steps. Plus, the school does not seem concerned in keeping members and will be very unilateral with the year subscriptions, even during covid. It's a pass.
Yuan Wu: I am still feeling shocked from the conversation I had with the customer services lady just now. I had an accident few days ago and hurt my knee badly. So I called and tried to find solution for my 10 lesson card. It seems that she was not wiliness to help me on the alternatives, even with the proof of my GP. What even more surprised to me - I also got a full education about how to plan my life, how to make purchase decision as an adult during the call. I have been as an adult for more than 10 years, this is ridiculously unacceptable. Hope you can understand. Suggesting your customer to take Pilates lesson with crutches might not be a good idea. And hang up when other people are still talking is also not a very polite manner. Thx.
Ανθή Μ.: Great central location, good facilities. There are 4 spacious rooms, but they aren't ventilated properly especially during hot days. Prepare for fast pace lessons. Some amazing teachers. Be careful with the multiple months subscription: they're renewed automatically and you have to cancel it 1 month before it's termination. You don't get any notification in advance for this extension which is sneaky and absurd. This has happened to me and many other students, and the school does not do anything to at least send a notification 1 month before the subscription expires.
Tom Ktl: This was only good to remind me that I suck at dancing and I don’t like this. I went there to learn but I don’t feel like I improved at all. I was very disappointed. The place itself is very well organized. The website is informative, people at the reception are friendly and helpful. The changing room and the studios are nice and clean. BUT. I have a negative skill level, I can’t dance at all. I finally committed to the effort of learning and I went to a ‘basic level’ class. I expected a lot slower lesson with much more detailed explanations. I could have asked questions, but since I was completely lost, one or two questions wouldn’t have helped a thing. Others seemed to be able to follow so I didn’t want to block the whole 30 people lesson and just left at 2/3 of it.
